I liked Shirou's chant, almost a mirror of Archers, although it changes certain lines around and completely different after the "Withstood pain" bit. In Shirou's version, he chants

@vc180191 Yeah, Shirou's differs because the original spell was a poem about Archer's life. Since Shirou hadn't become disillusioned to the world in the same way Archer had, his version of the chant seems to have a little more hope in it. =)

In comparison, in UBW, he doesn't get hit by Berserker at all, since he has lost his sexist stance and agrees right from the start to fight alongside Saber rather than bitch about women fighting. Still, was worth it in HF to see him own Berserker with his own axe sword, killing him nine times in rapid succesion with "Nine Lives Blade Works", that Shirou was badass.

The thing for the chant isn;t about the flaps, but the meaning of the chant. You must understand what it means to know what is he trying to tell...the meaning of the whole ubw chant is revealed at the FSN/VN ubw route itself. you should watch and knows the meaning before saying it does or doesn;t match it flaps......and the english dubs for that chant is more like a Spell chant instead of a Poem chant....

If it were Bones I should have been more happy but lets hope for a good outcome, anyways it looks like this movie was well prepared and anticipated, so let's look for a brighter future. And HF route was, for me at least, not a for a movie thing. A lot of sex scenes, grudges, cannibalism, penis-like worms, gut eating human, worm-made man, I think it wouldn't be budget-wise for it'll be banned in other countries.

There's a PS2 version of the VN called Realta Nua. Now that removed the sex scenes and else to make 15+ rating game.

If they use that I guess there's no problem about sexual content. But even with the sex scenes they can do the oldtimer "shortened" sex scene where we only see the beginning and what happened after.

Even if you say they'll remove those sex scene, HF route has a lot of those scenes, so the story will be damaged greatly, or I mean some of the parts would not be understood by the viewers and not only the sex scenes but also those "elfen lied" scenes there, and if they're to remove it again, no more taste for HF route. So it's still the best to choose the UBW route for it has the least of these scenes and the most action packed.

Actually, he doesn't say "Unrimited Brade Works" the voice actor actually managed to get past the Japanese accent well. Listen closely, you can hear the Ls.

"Ulimited Blade Works" is more correct, it's hard to hear the "N" in Unlimited.

One of my favorite things about the chant is that, as far as I know he doesn't really need to say it to cast the spell. He simply chooses it as a focus, and what would Archer use as a focus for his ultimate attack? A poem someone else wrote about him.
