Nice demo review. Only things u left out were if it can record or not if u can use ur own library the second u install it and recording like in djay app can. And would have been cool to preview the samples since that's the only thing djay can't do. Also I'm looking for an app that will run in multitasking mode so I can have 4 tables at once to work with sadly the only thing I found is the crappy dj mix pro apps that suck and crash & rip ppl off. And effects. Other wise gopdjob
Nice demo dude! U gave it justice. I was using another Dj app till I figured how 2 get my own music on touch Dj 2 2.2 with no computer. After I figured it out I downloaded thuh 2.3 update 2day but, I can't find uh version # anywhere on thuh app itself. I just want 2 make sure if it did or didn't update. I don't c any change & performance "seems" 2 have no change either. I'm on uh iPhone 3G with ios 4.0. I'm not complaining bout touch Dj 2, just tryin 2 find thuh version # on it.
Youre way wrong about the setup at 3.10 - you mention the Split L/R function - this sends Track 1 (the one on the left) out of the Left channel in mono. Track 2 (the one on the right) comes out of the Right channel in mono. You can then send these two mono tracks to an external mixer to mix the audio. This is great for 99% of instances as most dance tracks 'work' in mono (as no one stands in a stereo sweet spot in a club!). Ok so some tracks will sound wierd, but most will be fine.
@Genjutsushi yea i understand how me saying that one of the tracks will go to the stereo as in both L/R but i meant that it will go torwards a stereo system (speakers). But i will admit my explanation of the feature was very limited.
@Genjutsushi this is also quoted from the website product pdf:
"by activating this mode, you will forward the master output to the left channel, and the cue output to the right channel. The cue source is selected automatically (opposite to what is play- ing as master). You will need a special L/R split- ting adapter for this mode."
i also attempted the method that you had described in which is done by sliding the cross fader completely to the left or right. Awsome trick!
