This is a NKOTB classic and its from the Step by Step album. Other great songs from them is called Valentine girl and Lets try it again. This song was voted the best duet of the late 80's. Jordan and Joey are singing this Jordan is the one with the falsetto voice.
I remember Valentine Girl. I heard it many years ago. When u get a chance, check out NE's " With You All the Way." Ralph & the boys do a pretty good live performance with that one.
Great song but come on, u have to admit that NKOTb were better Vocally then NE?By the way listen to NKOTb other song which is called "didnt i Blow your Mind".
I remember that one from years ago, also. That was a remake of the Delfonics' old song. I will say that Jordan was the best vocally from NKOB. I personally think that he's better than all other NE vocalisits except for one-Johnny Gill. No one from NKOB could ever TOUCH Johnny. I think "Didn't I Blow Your Mind" came off their very first album if I'm not mistaken. I used to have it on cassette. I've long lost it since then. Awesome remake!
Johnny is good, but hes nowhere near Jordan knight. Johnny sings with his deep voice all the time where is though Jordan uses his falsetto and head voice. Jordan is unique in that theres noonein the world that sounds like him. Even the great Smokey Robinson said that Jordan was the best singer/vocalist that hes ever heard.
He's (Jordan) arguably one of the best of his time. I still listen to him 2day. As I said B4, everybody has their own opinion. I still don't think he's better than Johnny. Much luv 2 Jordan, though. I do feel that Jordan's better than a lot of these so-called R&B singers of today.
I love this song, and Jordan still sung the chorus so thumbs up..!! Joey did excellent too..
