I've lived in this British countryside. I've also lived in India for 18 months as a teacher. And I've seen stuff in Delhi and Bombay that we're simply impossible to believe.

And to be honest, this IS normal for India. You can tell it is normal, because all the drivers who are driving towards this taxi react in a fairly unsurprised way when they discover that some doolally bastard is driving the wrong way up the fast lane of a motorway. Most of them don't bat an eyelid.
