What can we all collectively do to Get drugs Relegalized? I hate seeing all these assholes on tv trying to tell me how to "relax" I just want to grow my own pot and be left alone dammit. I am really pissed off that people on tv just refuse to talk about legalization as a solution.for more than 5 minutes, this is a very important issue to almost everyone.
I really hate the way small town local police depts are addicted to asset seizures, and drug money. Southwest Georgia is horrible about this!
i've read that some amount over 75% of 'drug seizures' don't even end up with arrests. not that this is bad, but in these cases, the small town pd can easily steal money and assets and resell any large amounts of drugs they've stolen

You are so right! If I may make a suggestion, it is always going to be more accepted by those we want to see the truth about this to stick with the word "regulation" rather then including the word legalization.
Legalization means legal, like soda pop is legal. Most of us agree that it is cannabis is not for a developing mind (for children, Unless authorized by a Dr.) but if "regulated" like alcohol we would be in a much better state then what prohibition has us in. Let's us the word "regulation", it is more accurate and does not imply wide spread availability even to children.
And to make matters worse, we now have La Eme (Mexican Mafia) growing weed in our national parks all over the western US. They don't have to bother having the smuggling cut into their profit margins anymore, they just grow it right here.

I've got this idea...plant plants scattered about clearcuts and don't really tend to them. There will be little stunted plants everywhere that will yeild like a quarter. and the cops will be down on their hands and knees pulling up little dinky plants!

the governments are all so stupid and locked in the past when it comes to drug laws. If ALL drugs were legalised, the system could be regulated and drugs would stop being sold on the street. Prices would be driven down because there would be no risk involved. Honestly where are you more likely to buy any drugs from the local pharmacy where you know ehat your buying or your dodgy dealer who usually takes half an hour to turn up and sells you a cocktail of crap??? Legalization means legal, like soda pop is legal. Most of us agree that it is cannabis is not for a developing mind (for children, Unless authorized by a Dr.) but if "regulated" like alcohol we would be in a much better state then what prohibition has us in. Let's us the word "regulation", it is more accurate and does not imply wide spread availability even to children.

And to make matters worse, we now have La Eme (Mexican Mafia) growing weed in our national parks all over the western US. They don't have to bother having the smuggling cut into their profit margins anymore, they just grow it right here.

One of the main issues that causes this clash between officers and growers/users, is that those who make the laws really dont know much about weed, and have different priorities. If you work work work for the man, and live the stress filled lifestyle that so many have fallen prey to, all drugs seem frivolous, and dare to shatter the false sense of security built by "the man".
