she's got a lovely, rich voice that's perfectly suited to gospel and other religious music. heck, i'm not Christian and I'd listen to Christian rock performed by someone with a voice this lovely :)

i'm in the US and have been trying to figure out which contestant she was since I heard the X Factor version of "Hero" ... i heard her sing the line "The Lord knows dreams are hard to follow" and was hooked. such depth and tone and she throws real feeling into her performances

Rachel is good for karaoke,but not goos enough to tour. She was so out of place trying to sing with the others on the tour,being loud to try to make up for how bad she soundsded.I nearly felt sorry for her.

I dont like her attitude but my god that voice. Sends a shiver down my spine everytime. She's like a modern Nina Simone although Nina took her music seriously sometimes I have the impression Rachael just doesn't care about anything very much. Pity really.

Maybe she should sing gospel, because she wasn't versatile on the show, but when she did find a song that suited her voice she sang it amazingly. The differnce with Alexandra is that she was able to sing everything that was thrown at her.

I agree with you, but like out of the back catalogue of songs that she could of sung she got landed with crap ones accept for im telling you, feelin good, no good and no more drama/one...she's a soul singer, alex is a mainstream talent theres hundreds of girls with voices like hers and it fits into the versatile thing but Rachel is a rare unique talent. she needs some vocal lessons though so she can be the best she can be but i think shes fantastic.
