In Isaiah 44:6 you could see that the father and the son have the same name in Hebrew. It isn't the LORD. It isn't Jesus. Yod, Hey, Waw, Hey is pronounced Yahuwah. Jehovah the Saviour had a Human body, the body is flesh that could die and suffered pain and crying out but that Spirit in that body was none other than Jehovah Himself. That body was called EMMANUEL which mean Jehovah God with us in Human form, NOT another god with us. "Son" was the different ministry of Jehovah God in human form on earth as a Saviour. In Isaiah 44:6 you could see that the father and the son have the same name in Hebrew. It isn't the LORD. It isn't Jesus. Yod, Hey, Waw, Hey is pronounced Yahuwah. Every Bible mentions that word is in the Hebrew text but the publishers change the inspired word by putting in "the LORD". The LORD could be anybody.

The word "Jehovah" does not occur once in the New Testament in ANY Greek manuscript - not even the ones used for the NWT.
THE FATHER is the Father. Why do you insist that The Father's name is Jehovah? The Jehovah of the Old Testament IS JESUS CHRIST. The bible puts it very plainly there is one God, and he has manifested his self at times by being the Father or the son , or the Holy ghost, Paul even said Jesus Christ was the full embodiment of the God head he was all three, why don't you Just believe what the bible reads. it's simple Jesus was God manifested in the flesh. The bible was not made to be mysterious or hard to understand. why would god do that? however, after the apostles died, man decided to make their own doctrines, including the trinity, it was in full effect by the 4th centurty, But never taught by Jesus. It is NOT the inspired word of G-d so why are you reading it as if your life depends on it? The WTS CANNOT save you. Try being honest and read the bible on its own. Really look hard as if searching for treasure. Allow yourself to doubt the MEN in Brooklyn.

@bresnof There is no confusion. John1:1 says that in the beginning was the Word, the word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD! Further on it states that THE WORD became flesh and dwelt among men. I know who my God is!

@MrVforvendetta10 and if were going to bring pseudo-john into the equation, then every human that wants to can become God to, since in the gospel of john, we have jesus saying "whoever receives the word of God is God" and misquoting a verse from psalm. too bad the verse in psalm doesnt say "god" but "elohim" (judges). I asked a christian about this problem, they said that it was due to jesus not knowing greek very well. i laughed . they want to show that jesus is god but he doesnt know greek ?

@wonderfulsavior1 So...you mean that when Satan tempted Jesus in the desert he was temping God? And that when the Bible says that Jesus "sat down at the right hand of God" they were the same person? Or that when Jesus was on the "cross" praying his Father he was talking to himself? And what about the fact that Jesus DIED for us? Did just a PART of God die? Jesus said he was ONE with his Father like he wanted US to be ONE with him...Does this mean that Jesus and US are the same person?

@bresnof, yes Satan was tempting Jesus the Son who is partaker of divinity in the Godhead. You as a Jehovah witness cannot understand the Trinity because you reject the Holy Spirit. I as an ex-muslim used to think exactly like you. I did not believe that Jesus was God, for me He was a good prophet but all the glory to the Saving God who rescued me and millions of people by His amazing grace and through Holy Spirit. If Jesus was not God, How he could die for our sins. Ask Holy Spirit to help you.

Jesus is the English form of the Hebrew "Jehoshua" - which means "I AM JEHOVAH THE SAVIOR". There is no savior by Jesus, therefore Jesus is Jehovah.

@Eternalsummersong Exactly! ONLY JEHOVAH IS THE SAVIOUR ISAIAH 45:21-22. When Jesus claimed He is the Way to be saved, that has to be meant that Jesus was the same person that Isaiah mentioned. That wouldn't be right if they arent the same person, isn't it? To say that One God makeup by 3 different persons, thats really insane!

Jehovah the Saviour had a Human body, the body is flesh that could die and suffered pain and crying out but that Spirit in that body was none other than Jehovah Himself. That body was called EMMANUEL which mean Jehovah God with us in Human form, NOT another god with us. "Son" was the different ministry of Jehovah God in human form on earth as a Saviour. There was NONE other deity beside Him.

It's a shame some people make money off of religion but I guess to them, it's just another business. Jehovah is the English translation for Yahweh. Although the only thing we know for sure is YHWH...nobody really knows for sure what the vowels were.

I have the New Jerusalem Bible, and of course, the NWT, and have always been partial to God's name in the Bible, though I never associated myself with the Jehovah's Witnesses or any of Russell's groups, or the so-called Sacred Name movement, though I agree with what they say.
Conversely, I'm a Hare Krishna. :D To me, Krishna is also Amitabha, Allah, Jehovah, etc. They are all One God with so many beautiful, personal names!

Oh by the way, there can be many things that can be said about J.W's, however being Freemasons is not one of them. Freemasonry and Jehovah's Witnesses are two separate organizations that have nothing to do with one another. For you to say J.W.'s are members of a secret society of Freemasons is ridiculous. It must really be secret then, because no J.W.'s are aware of it. I grew up in that religion and never once heard the term Freemasonry mentioned or observed Masonic rituals practiced.
