i got an invitation to an Opan call for the National American Miss Massachusetts State Pagenet does that mean i can be one of the chosen girl to be miss massachusetts if i go? this si my very first time . . .soo is it ok if u can help me with is? ^.^;;

Yes, you can be one of the girls to be chosen, but the chances of winning your first year aren't very good. But anythings possible. They look for girls who have a great personality, community involvement and really know how to command the stage.

I hope you go to the open call, and maybe even compete its a chance of a lifetime, and its a BLAST!

@xXaznkimmyXx no u have to chosen to go to state.. when u go to an open call u have to go on an interview with the judges and then they call u back 7 dayz later and tell u got in ot compete for miss massachusetts (or whatever state u r)

It cost $480 for state and $795 for nationals. But altogether for me it costs around $5000.

no talent is required. I am also short. It is alot a fun the whole weekend. There is a finale dance number at the end of the pageant that all girls participate in. They will show you the routine and you get to practice. Just plan ahead with your introduction and practice all types of interview questions

My sister has been invited to attend this 'contest' -- She's 12, short, and very nervous. xDD

She is undecided whether to go or not. Was it fun? She says she doesnt have any talent, do you have to perform a special act such as singing or dancing by yourself?

Your sister should definitely go for it. I'm the Washington Queen, absolutely loved the national last year. Don't heisitate to get started!!
