Any idea on how to get live wallpapers working on the android 2.2 for the touch pro 2? The ones I download from the market don't seem to work. Thanks.
HI!! I NEED HELP PLEASE, ANYONE! I was following the steps of this dude "frosty of mobile middlemen (" full tutorial on how to put android on windows mobile touch pro 2") I got it running an all but my Gen y dual boot wouldn't work, plus sound doesn't work on my WINMO 6.1. Sound works w/ the head phones tho. Could u please tell me Either how to get sound back to my winmo 6.1 or directions to build the android with sound ( w/ links on the specific downloads) I have a T-mobile tp2 running 6.1?
I'm not sure why this would cause problems with your phones original ROM. Did you install the .cab/.rar onto your SD card or your Phone? The files must be in the ROOT of the SD card and installed to the SD card. Gen.Y.DualBoot must be installed for that software to work, although personally I don't use it.
@Crpsheep sd card, at 1st i put it in a file , then ran haret, linux boot up failed, then i realized wat i did wrong and then put it on the root of the card, ran it again and it worked fine, turned the phone off and then gen y pops up and i try to press android and it reads error message, i did a hard rest just now, still the same T_T . sound only works with headphones on the original rom ,,, HTC doesnt cover os problems like this they said.. WHAT SHOULD I DO ?
@1Deejay7 reason for genY not recognizing it is because the android files are not in the root of the sd card which is where geny looks for the haret and start up files. this was the problem i faced. To fix it, open up the different folders in the android folders on your storage card and move the files for your device (including startup.txt) into the root of the storage card. then soft reset and click android. should work but might not. It works for android not installed in .cab format.
@Crpsheep Hi, could you please give me the exact web address of the new update so I can try to re-due everything... hopefully it will work and I'll have sound again.. I went to the links in the desc. but then I dont know what to do..

Last time I checked, 3D wasn't up and running yet, so live wallpapers are a no go

I didn't make this, the wonderful people over at XDA-Developers figured it out.
If you're speaking in terms as in your phone's sound isn't working correctly, trying reinstalling the newest build.

I'm not sure why this would cause problems with your phones original ROM. Did you install the .cab/.rar onto your SD card or your Phone? neither build works for my htc tp2...actually it works for like 10 minutes then it shuts down and boots up windows..any suggestions

First boot takes the longest, but once you do it afew times only takes a minute or so.
And I can't really help you on the service problem, try heading to the XDA forums.

I believe the build works for all TP2's, regardless of carrier.
And as far as I know, the only things not working are the Camera, and the battery meter.
