i like k9, but dude he is such a cheating bastard, he kept on hitting in the back of the head... he did like 10 times, and the ref didnt deduct one point i would have atleast 2 or 3 on him by the end
Although Steve Forbes was the better fighter, K9 got the winning attitude, I like how positive he is after his loss, and I think he made it far given the hard circumstances he was grown up in.
It has been over 20 years since i boxed and "liking" getting hit never happens, however being so afraid of it that you paw your jab like he does just gets you hit even more and does not allow you to hit back with any force.
He was standing with his head back (making his chin was up and i do not need to point what a bad idea that is).
His arms were also out streached pawing at the guy hitting him, That is called pawing your jab.
THEY ARE bloody awful things for a boxer to do, it is almost always a sign of a oponent who cannot deal with the sting being hit so leans back and hold his arms out "pawing" at the guy on the attack.
You lose sight of a lot of your oponents body and its movements so cannot see signs that let you anticapate attacks
Without your arms in the right guard position you cannot block properly
Cannot counter attack properly or with power as your arms are at full extension
My old trainer had a guy who started doin that after a KO loss, he tied his arms to his sides and had a lighter class to jab him in the face for 3 full rounds
