Scariest moment ever...Playing online, US v USSR, locked in information age. No Armeggedeon counter. It was scary, because the basis was we had to infer what the other player was going to do, without hostilities. But the other player panicked and pushed the button when my third fleet was steaming past his capitol. I don't remember how many nukes there were, but in the end, no one won.

@crookedspokeadjacent I agree. Nukes are a last resort for my and usually AI enemies. I have to disagree about conventional/cruise missiles though. If me and an enemy are racing to build a certain wonder, or I need a cripple enemy forts, a missile greatly helps you.

lol i was playing in campaign and just got tired of sending in troops and failing, so i did the old clusterfuck nuke. sure enough i caused armageddon and ended the world haha

i guess fallout 3 could be considered a sequel to my idioticness

hey can anyone help me please, when i install rise of nations gold edittion on my computer it said Rise of Nations cannot run with the monitor display mode set to 256 colors. Please change monitor display to 16-bit color or greater. What should i do ?

I always love to advance as quickly as possible and when I get to the information age and my opponent is still in the industrial age, I spam with with my AI soldiers and nukes. XD

In single or multiplayer? :) I love to rush and attack boomers :D. I'm such an agressive player. But lol yea.. that's true, even in multiplayer you can advance to info age, and your opponent beeing still in industrial big time :). But it's in basic RON, I didn't like TOP at that point ;PPPP players there were too tough for me :P.

We fire 50 each at one target at the same time!!! We can wipe out every single unit (including our own) on a Big Huge map with only using half our silos!!

i just had an funny idea, if you build like 50 silos, then u put nukes in all of them, then u target them all, then send them to one building! total analiathion of whatever u fire at, and noone cam come close untill nukes stop comming

Then you loose the game for setting of the Armegeddon counter, and also, it'd be smarter to use those silos to hit multiple buildings, that way you kill everything.

yeah, its a lot cooler to see a wave of infantry, cavalry, and artillery just rush in and destroy everything in their path...

i recomend using the rocket artillery for quick destruction

I can be wrong, but if you research missile shield before launching a single missile of any kind, it isnt +2, but X 2.

As I said, I can be wrong.
