Probably because they'd rather try and sell more full size trucks. the colorado doesn't really get that much publicity to be honest. You usually don't see one ever in a showroom, they don't get commercials, and when gm makes a generic commercial advertising a deal on all gm vehicles, you don't see the colorado pictured. In a way it sucks, but it also means that there are less people driving colorados which makes my truck that much more unique.
I noticed that too. Its the same way with Fords Ranger and Dodges' Dakota. None of the companies want to show off there light pickups. Its a real shame. Alot of fun can be had in a light truck, no matter the make. (though I prefer the Ranger, due to the fact I... own one)
