Does anyone know the name of the song they're singing together at the end? Something about a "willow tree"? I'd like to find this song, it's beautiful......thanks.
@blmlb63 Well, I better clarify that: I heard it PERFORMED by Louis Johnson. Think it was actually written by somebody named Neuburry or Newberry. Something like that. (There's always somebody waiting to hull you out if you don't get everything just perfect.....)
Miss Sammi had one of the biggest hits in country music history with "HMMITTN". This video is a treasure and, you're right, "priceless". I hadn't (nor have most ppl, I assume) seen video of her in YEARS. Thanks for sharing this gem! RIP Sammi!
Is there going to be anymore to this documentary? I'm a big fan of Sammi's and I'd love to see the complete video of this and also complete concerts released on her material. What a great lady and legend!!!!!!!! Thanks for posting this.

Written by Mickey Newberry, a very prolific songwriter who also wrote Kenny Rogers first hit, "Just Dropped In".

I can't believe Sammi was singing my song.
I was Sammis fiddle player, friend and at different times her band leader.
I wrote Left Hand Sided years before that, and Sammi would ask me to sing it for her all the time. I didn't even know she knew the lyrics.
I love you Sammi, and miss you terribly.
