  • I thought this vid was amazing! Good job man :)

  • @EcHoIzGoD thanks..appreciate it

  • honestly not everyone can afford a guitar ^^; and for others its nice to learn how to play digital music, i think playing music is playing music regardless and if it sounds great all the better ^_^ just have fun with what ever you play and enjoy the music you make with anything from garbage can drum set to an iPhone guitar, cuz someday who knows, could be the best drummer or guitarist out there and the ppl posting rude comments would be kicking them self's in the butt xD

  • a guy with a guitar in the corner

  • Why is everyone bitching? HOW DARE SOMEONE HAVE FUN.

Fucking kids online, there's nothing wrong with playing an instrument on an electronic device. Does it sound different? Yes. But is that a reason to bitch? No. At least they're getting use out of their expensive electronic device.

  • @TheRealClaireR Thank you... well said. Most people liked the video... there're just a few closed-minded idiots bitching... Like you said... People need to learn to be more positive and have fun...

  • @tkviper look at it this way. the ones bitching. have no videos to answer with. nor can they do better

  • @yamahonkawazuki that's always the case; people who make helpful videos know it's not an easy task and will rarely bash other video makers over little matter. thanks for watching my videos..

  • If the rest of what you are doing THE TIME IS SO SCREWED UP, why listen to the rest of it..Come on man I was looking for a guitar player no a cell phone player. This electronics music shit SUCKS....

  • @lclaughton R U blind? The video icon clearly shows a guy holding a iPhone??? Did you think it was going to transform into a real guitar???

  • @tkviper .What he is holding, at first glance, could have been a guitar tuner..ARE YOU BLIND? Of course your're not..Its just that I hate electronic music crap like this...You need to play guitar, which will require you to have a tuner..Park your damn cell phone..Of course all of this could be a delusion cause I could not stand to watch it... Not to say the guy is not probably a genius of sorts.

  • @lclaughton I placed "iPhone App" at the beginning of the title so as not to confuse more people like you, those who hate electronic music. That's all I can do. I play the guitar and I created the app to allow me to input notes into computer software via MIDI signals... This way I can write down my guitar arrangements quickly into tablature and standard music notation via Guitar Pro 6.0.

  • @lclaughton yet you did watch. it and spent more time griping about what he was doing versus finding guitar videos to make you happy Eh?,

  • Ow wow I'm Derrick and I can sing high like this

  • TOTAL FAILLLLL !!!!

  • @CLIPKNOT 114,000 views, 90 times favorited, and 132 likes....vs. 32 dislikes equates to a pretty successful video. TOTAL FAIL is your meaningless existence on YouTube..however you can try and prove me wrong by posting a video of yourself and getting those numbers...

  • It's easier to learn on real guitar. lmao

  • me gustas <3

  • @Genius1298 gracias

  • Dude learn to play a real guitar for one and for two u didn't play it in time u were slow

  • @udatrojans50 Dude! 1. YOU learn to play a real guitar because I play way better than you and I'm not even that good. 2. I played the solo by itself without a metronome on a freaking Phone and then later added the back track which I found on the internet played by someone else SO of course the timing will not match 100%.

  • @tkviper dude.. metronome?! the drummer is your metronome..

  • @playboyking98 dude, can't u read? I played the intro by itself without any music (no drummer) or metronome... i added the background track later as is. I would like to see you do that..Just pick up the guitar, play the intro without any other sound or metronome... then play the GNR song and play your recorded intro on top of it and see if they match 100%. That's what I did. I had no music, metronome, or drummer to follow.

  • Holy off beat

  • errrrmmm am i the only one that could see it was a phone before i clicked on the video..the guy is only showing you what he can do with it...so many professional music players in here....awesome..hey angus you there or izzy or slash,is that you???????...grow the fuck up guys and accept this for what the fuck it is or else just fuck off!

  • @theearthmuffins thank you for getting the point of this video. Idiots coming here saying "get a real guitar" or "a real guitar sounds better" are annoying as hell...

  • @tkviper get a real guitar!! XD

  • @tiopappo get a real life.

  • @tkviper i have a real life, but you!! dont have a real guitar XD

  • @tiopappo if you had a real life, then you wouldn't be posting meaningless comments on youtube just for fun. I have many real guitars and a real life. I'm not sure if you have either. XD

  • why all the people that do amazing things got to be asian's (no ofense)

  • @seba9867 because they're just plain smart, while your busy looking up some girls skirt

  • @zmallic Well that's true

  • I hope this is a joke

  • @THESweetLOver1234 I recorded the solo by itself without a metronome (no beat to follow) and added the Guitar Pro backtrack without any modification way later. So I was surprised my tempo to an extent matched that of the backtrack...not perfectly but pretty darn close. Had I been playing along to the backtrack, I would've had a beat to follow. Plus it's on an iPhone.....Learn to have some fun and not be such a stickler, mate.

  • @THESweetLOver1234 Loving music means to love playing music on any instrument in any way possible; not just on a guitar. I love the guitar as much as any guitarist do. But I'm also open-minded about all music instruments, digital ones included.

  • Dude. Learn how to keep to a beat!

  • @p3t3rVL12 I recorded the solo by itself without a metronome and added the backtrack way afterwards. So I was pleasantly surprised that my tempo matched the backtrack's tempo...not perfectly but pretty darn close. I'd like to see you do that on an iPhone...Until then, your comment means as little as your login name to me.

  • whats ur instrument. an iphone.

  • @ineedbry In the video, yes an iPhone... Usually a classical guitar... But I also play a bunch of other stuff. Just give me something that makes noise and I'll figure out a way to make music with it.. hahaha.

  • Gimp

  • Gimp

  • Man, go get a real guitar. Its a lot better fun.

  • @robertprado7 Dude, I have plenty of real guitars and I love playing them. But I also enjoy playing any music instrument I can get my hands on including digital ones because I love all music, not just guitar music.

  • do you know what is rhythm, man?

  • fleto

  • o lçoko meu porra isso e foda pra crlh

  • 5:37

  • This video is real good.

    Congratulacion.

  • looks real to me

  • ok :) do it outside in the open and dont add music with editing software then i will believe you. Im not trying to leave hate mail i just want to see if this is real

  • @explosivebacon89 I'm uploading a new video as I'm typing now.. Hope it convinces you; if not, then nothing will unless you download the app and try it yourself.

  • so fake

  • @explosivebacon89 it's not fake. I can play it again and talk at the same time to prove it's really me playing. the backing track is a guitar pro file.

  • legal!

  • I just dont get it can you tell us through a video step by step

  • and this... play this on real guitar :D

  • just buy i guitar

  • @swedenmetafan I have 7 already.

  • @tkviper XdDDDDDDDD nice

  • @ichirakudreamer I don't understand why people assume that I can't play the guitar when I could play this song on an iPhone. I have like 300+ videos of me playing the guitar...

  • @swedenmetafan powned

  • Cool

  • your music makes me cry

  • "NEEEEEEEEEEERDDDDDDDDDDD"

    -homer simpson

  • do you need a computer or can you play on the go

computer's fine cause i have fruity loops but on the go would be awsome

  • @icee489 it has 11 built-in sound samples so you can play it anywhere. But when you have a computer, I definitely recommend using the virtual instruments in FL, Garageband, etc.

  • @tkviper thanx just what i wanted to hear

  • That was fucking sweet dude sweet:)

  • Your awesome...sleep with my mom and marry her and become my stepfather.

  • @ricanterr hahahaha. that made my day.. thanx

  • I like only real guitar!

  • @DejanNovak123 i love the real guitar. but i use midi guitars to play with other sounds and inputting notes into PC software. thanx for watching.

  • @DejanNovak123 who asked your opinion? of course real guitar sounds better but this shit is cool. It even kinda sounds like a les paul. some serious rocket scientists created this. He's playin' Guns n' Roses on a fucking phone!

  • @eqsmooth thanx for getting it... I don't understand why people think i'm preaching that an iPhone guitar app is better than a real guitar.. I never said that. How can any guitarist not think it's cool to be able to control Garageband on a guitar controller... instead of a piano keyboard controllers...

  • @tkviper Yeah, don't listen to the haters.

  • brilliant app

  • i have seen everything now

  • fascinating :D

  • @SpiderFan23 If you play the guitar, u gotta try it. There's a free version just for testing.

  • awesome program!

  • @utPr3d4ToR it really is. Once you get used to it, you'll be able to play so many instrument sounds on a familiar guitar interface. Perfect for people like myself.

  • @tkviper

I have one nokia touch. The program con work in my phone?

  • @utPr3d4ToR Sorry. only for iPhone and iPod Touch. Your phone probably doesn't support 5 multi-touches at the same time. So it would be impossible to run a guitar app on it.

  • @tkviper

    Ok, thx for the info.

  • I watched your video.. and starting to.. wonder myself something. Do you even play guitar IRL ?

  • @Kraydinhe IRL I'm not that good of a guitarist, but I do play the guitar a lot. Using the iPhone/iPad/iTouch as an instrument is cool because you can play it anywhere.

  • @tkviper I guess so, anyway.. I was just wondering :)

  • Tried to connect by creating a network on my macbook pro (AirPort > Create network) . Works with AG-7 midi guitar, and provides stable connection, without dropping notes, but with your guitar I can't make it work... I wonder what is different? Both use the same server. Could you please troubleshoot? I'd like to make it work.

  • @pavelponomaryov Creating a local network does work; I've tried it many times..You might need to restart the app sometimes. But it will drop notes because wifi is slower than using a LAN cable, which is recommended. AG-7 also drops notes if you play fast. But since you're only strumming chords, you won't notice it as much.

  • @tkviper mmm, I don't notice any dropped notes with AG-7 when I connect to an ad-hoc network. Anyway, I tried to restart the A+ app multiple times, restarted server, etc etc.. It still does not work on a WiFi ad hoc network. Works only if I connect to the wifi network on the router, but then a lot of notes drop. :(

  • @pavelponomaryov That's really strange; I have connected via local network even when there are no internet access points available. I've tested on both macbook pro and the new macbook air. If you use a router, then it's best to connect your macbook with a LAN cable to maximize performance. This is because A+ MIDI Guitar send a lot more midi data than AG-7 does...pitch bend, modulation, etc. I've noticed dropped notes even with AG-7 and their piano midi app if it's all wirelessly done.

  • @tkviper Finally got it working. I don't know what the issue was, but it works today, though all settings are the same. Very stable performance over the ad hoc network!

  • @pavelponomaryov Like I said, it all depends on the network performance when it's all wireless. So eventually the network will get busy and you'll notice a lot of dropped notes. A LAN cable dramatically improves performance because your macbook will get loseless reliable signal directly from the routher at more than 4x the speed. I have never experienced any delay when using a LAN cable. Good luck and have fun. Please rate the app if you enjoy it. I will keep adding new features.

  • dude learn real guitar ... :)

  • @tabslayer dude, i do play the real guitar.

  • thats the same as they play it on the guitar, why wouldnt you use it

  • @danielhuntington1996 Yeah, it's designed to be played exactly like a real guitar. But the fun part is you get to control 1000's of instrument sounds like the flute, violin, cello, piano, sitar, synth pads, etc.. I don't play the violin, but I love its sound and now there's a way to play it on a guitar fret board.

  • che tristezza.... what sad

  • great job but what app is that?

  • @mw2quickscop3z A+ MIDI Guitar for the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad. It controls all the instruments in garageband, logic, ableton, reason, kontakt, Kore, etc. using WIFI so you can play it while walking about; no wires to trip on.
