Nothing Epic Games produced until then comes even close to UT99. You feel the passion and love these people put into game. It was the only game, next to Half Life 1, which was perfect in every aspect: Graphics, Music and Programming!

Should I tell you why they mess up now? Its because they are greedy for licenses! Check out "Unreal Engine" under wikipedia > Versions...

i hope that with the next ut game the series would live again. Like the first unreal only with reaper, because of all the U games, ut3 and the first unreal (not ut) had the best stories, only ut3 made the story just a match with the bots, but the cutscenes between chapters and malcolms betrayal were very good.

I dont like this game, its just made to show us what cool graphics they can do nowdays, they added a stupid pointless storyline, i've expected the same game as ut 2004 with new levels/chars but i was very dissapointed, and why i cant play as Malcom or Xan?! Theyve advertised the whole game with pics where Malcolm is kicking ass. but there are a lot mods for it so you actually play the mods made by othe people rather then the game., this should be the multiplayer option of GoW! Fuck this game!

i couldn't agree with you more, there wasn't many levels, hardly any characters (should have kept Thundercrash and the Juggernauts at least), Iron Guard needs Brock and Wraith as he looks in UT2003/4, this game even manages to make the Hellions look like classic UT characters, and thats saying something, nobody likes them.

best UT games of all time are UT2004, UT2003, and UT99

either way, you could spend a fuck load of money for the next gen console, or just upgrade your video card. and even so the right vid cards can run all next gen games. pc will be superior. look at it, ps3 is slowly turning into a pc, as is all console systems. in the end its costs just about the same amount of money to get a good pc runnin and it will last longer than the console will.

They look alike because gears of war uses the Unreal 3 Engine, the models and textures are the same, just edited slightly for the individual games.

actually he's right cuz you can just update the video card on a pc, cant do that on a console, and now you can put multiple video cards on one mother board for one aspect of your game so you wont have any lag, and you only get viruses and such from downloading something you really didnt need that was unnecessary.
