I don't know why everyone is hating on the new china, il show. I think it's pretty funny, and the professor bros are their own funny selves. What's wrong with it?

@suchahipster Respect your view, wish I could feel the same. A couple reason why I don't: 1)The animation style isn't the same. I dig this style featured in the above video. 2) From what I've seen the dialog and jokes aren't as funny, period. Case in point, The T.A. Interview is funnier than anything I've seen on the Adult Swim version, but T.A. Interview is typical of the old shit, which is all fucking art to me.

@S2Cents Yeah I really like this kind of animation style, it almost looks like an animatic. I don't mean to sound really pretentious or anything, but I think the style of humor that the ones here show is not as easily accessible to say, someone who watches something like family guy. Hence why here we have something rather calm like a interview with just some humorous situations and questions thrown in vs having shows revolving on huge babies. I do like this one much more though.

@S2Cents I am glad I'm not the only person who feels like the Adult Swim version is not as funny. I think it may because the humor has been watered down into a different format to compete with Family Guy, Squid Billies, etc. I think certain shows with their own mythology of strangeness, without as many in your face jokes does not do well on Adult Swim. I think part of it may just be pacing, the new show is funny in its own way, but the pacing of things seems almost off. I like both though

@S2Cents I don't think its sell out o much as its been a few years, and creator tastes change, and then some of this is pretty trippy, I think they are trying to make it more approachable for others. Look at Futurama for instance, the style of the show is completely different, and the same happened with Family Guy when they were both canceled and came back. Creator tastes. I wouldn't say editing or structuring your work to be more approachable is bad, its a case of evaluating a niche or a lot

I'll admit that some parts aren't as good as what we have here, but it's got a lot of similarities with his work across the board. You should check out Wizard People if you like him, by the way.
