What a great party song, saw Duke live at Locomotives in West Lafayette, I remember him walking through the crowd with a mini guitar just tearin' it up
Wow! I can't believe I found this! I used to work at Locomotions (1988) in Indy and after work go down to the Jam Cellar to listen to them with my biker buddies!! Definitely the best bar band ever!! I had their cd, but lost all in a fire, so glad I could find it here!
Maybe I should post my video as a response to this song, it's got music from Duke and it's the only video on youtube where you can hear that particular song.
I remember one night in 1977 at the Bluebird in Bloomington IN, Duke had all the women in the bar standing on their tables screaming "I want to tie you up." I saw him there and at Rick's American Cafe in Ann Arbor MI more times than I can remember. Duke never sold out. His playing is always tasteful, never over stated, the consumate showman.

~This track is so much fun! It makes me what to live out the fantasy and "get freaky," minus the mayo and peppers;) Duke is one talented and creative musician.
The unique quality that each artist contributes for the pleasure of everyone is wonderful. Naturally, individuals are going to prefer the work of certain artists over others. If you want to say someone is better than another, that's true; for you, alone. Nothing wrong with that- but the Duke's as good as anyone whoever picked up a guitar.
@hoz49 As the original poster said, he's the best you've NEVER heard. As someone who's seen him a couple times, and also some of the other people that you mentioned, I'd have to agree. He's an excellent blues musician, and a wonderful showman, and you really enjoy each show. I'm in SA, Texas now, and I'm sad that he doesn't make it down here much, if at all.
I love this man. I wish he was my grandfather. He rocks. Thank you for adding this. In early July I looked for him on Youtube and found very little. This is my favorite Duke songs. Thank you again.
Ed!!! I lost you!!!!

I have a t-shirt saying "I wanna tie you up" and people always take it the wrong way! I love that shirt! My mom got it when she saw them in college.

He's the original guitarist for REO Speedwagon when they did rock and roll, long before they started doing pansy top-40 songs.

The Duke is an outstanding practitioner of the Blues, but sorry, he isn't the best I've ever heard.
How about Buddy Guy? The Butterfield Blues Band? (pick any musician in that lineup). Clapton? BB? Oh the list goes on and on.

If so, then why is still grinding out one night stands?
I've nothing against the man. Except I find his music a little "whitebread" for my tastes. (I prefer rye or pumpernickel.)

The Duke is the greatest blues musician you've never heard (unless you live in the Midwest)! And he still plays that sweet 50s Les Paul.
