You sound like you are giving a persuasive essay instead of giving your opinion. An opinion is an explanation of your thoughts based on things you have learned or have actually witnessed.

Persuasive is trying to get some to believe what you believe by bringing facts to the table. As everyone knows evaluation is neither fact nor based on sound proof and is only a couple hundred years old. At least Religion has written documentation dating back thousands of years.

Well the difference is documentation. There are many unearthed scrolls and recordings that make up the Bible(Which are the writings of people that experience him)... And other unearthed documents that support the Bible(Like recordings from the government of Jesus's crucifixion and John's imprisonment)..

Some good points. I dont believe in a god up in heaven, but believe that the god is in us. God is your belief and your mental attitude. Which is why perople who adopt a postive mental attitude in life feel better in themselves. And I wouldnt put down any church/temple because praying together makes people feel better.
