Please inform yourselves before making obtuse comments about evolution. The reason that diseases are rampant in our modern society is because there is almost no selection pressure. A breakthrough like this would lead to increased natural selection, both through preventative screening and sharing of certain genetic information. Evolution aside, this would have incredible implication for personalised medicine and is something that I think is wonderful and should be applauded!
