Its not rock-paper-scissors. Its like a guessing game. If you look closely. they said like 9x8=? its like a math game. you have to answer quickly, If not you get whacked.

you chant 'gugudan-eul we(e as in 'red')ja' two times, then ask the person you're playing with a multiplication problem (e.g. 3 x 2, 8 x 9). the person has to answer, then it's his turn to chant and ask the problem. it gets more interesting as you speed up the process:)
