CS might look like a pretty basic run and gun FPS, but the truth is it's not. This game is PUNSHING, "running and gunning" will get you killed. It doesn't need motion sensors or claymores to provide strategic gameplay, the skill required to use the weapons right and use the map to your advantage is almost unbelievable, this game surpasses call of duty in both depth of gameplay and strategy.
It all comes down to is that CS is very unforgiving - therefore the satisfaction for succeeding is greater than that in other comparative games.
the modern warfare games, while still fine games that I have had plenty of fun with in the past...are very forgiving and cater towards more obnoxious gameplay and a reliance on the perk system. More serious oldschool FPS players are dismissive of the silliness, and know CS is where the real pure FPS action is.

I honestly find the weapon models in this game looking worse than in CS:S, and i don't think this game will differ much from the original 2 titles so i don't think i will pick this up unless something proves me wrong.

dont worry guys they are going to cross platform the consoles. everyone is going to have to install steam and the game will be run from there. so basically its going to be the pc kids running off the console kids in a matter of weeks because they dont have aim assist like that shitty cod.

@alexlvnv1688 so far thats what ive heard. i read that its going to be cross platformed with mac and ps3 but i havent heard anything about the xbox so im not sure about that. i dont even know how they are going to do it because console run on different types of servers than pc lol. but yes console kids stand no chance against us pc players.

Alright this game is coming out in 2012, with those fucking graphics?? I don't even care how good the gameplay is, that shit is just terrible. It looks waaayyyy worse than MW3, which everyone is bitching about those graphics, but people seem to be turning a blind eye towards this. It looks no better, or different gameplay wise for that matter, than the old CS

Go to that video, and watch it. It was footage of Halo Reach's Alpha build, 7 months before its release. It looks very much like it does now. As with all games, most of what it will look like is done in the alpha.
CS is no exception. I guarantee you it will look mostly like it does now when it releases. Logic wins. And please don't call me dumbfuck.

one thing that's for certain:FPS are meant to work on a pc's,if ever someone got it on the consoles only it would be impossible to play since no one can replicate mouse controls on an analog stick.
