Great photos. Lived in Tripoli 1953-55, while in high school. Our flat was behind what was then the Church of the White Sisters. Hope the people of Libya will some day know true freedom and will not be taken in by any of the groups advocating religious fanaticism.

nice, when I got to Wheelus in Aug 57, I stayed for 3 weeks before getting a flight on to Turkey. I got acquainted with 2 daughters of a man who was probably a civilian working with the air force - surname Hayes.

For which Libyans is Libya free? For the Gadhaffi family fine the others cannot even leave their country without an exit visa
