There is no more Remembrance services in Hk after 2008 - it is only meant to mark 90th anniversary of the end of First World War. But I think in 2018 it may be held to mark 100th anniversary.
emptyangel, you might be interested to know that the honour guards actaully are not "tioops", but rather teenagers (boys and girls) in the Air, Sea and Land Cadet Forces.

a true shame there is no union jack at the Cenotaph .. yes, I know HK is part of China now, but it should be there to respect the British and Canadian soldiers who died defending HK
These men & women died for King & Country and Hong Kong. The Union Flag should be up there.

What is the green flag?

@samuelbcn
That is the flag of the Hong Kong Ex-Servicemen's Association.
The Remembrance Ceremony is organised by the Hong Kong Ex-Servicemen's Association.

I didn't know Hong Kong used the SA80!
On another note, I just wish that the troops here in Singapore looked as good as the ones in HK.
It's amazing how you've managed to keep all that drill absolutely perfect! Fantastic looking uniforms too!
If only Singapore bothered to hold onto British tradition as well as HK has.

A shame the Union Jack can't be hissed anymore. Honkers have no respect, not even for their own history. God Bless The Free World.
