  • This song still sounds as sexy as tight blue jeans now as it did in the 80's. Hot!!!

  • Club 80s with DJ Lex (LIVE 365) brought me here.

  • sinead,you class act

  • she sooo pretty with her shaved head

  • She is fricking HOT * stunning being *

  • I should get this cd.

  • 2:08- 2:16- bisexual mesage

  • Does anybody know where I can get a decent copy of the mp3 of this version? The 12" is only available in vinyl and the CD is $60. Tried downloading from this video and the quality is terrible.

  • @ElizaDay66 donwload A nightmare on elm street 4 Soundtrack. ^^

  • This is pure sex thru the ear, she was just so great back then, kinda unbeatable

  • This is the first song I ever heard from her. And, I heard it on KROQ.

  • miksi olet kalju

  • Did Sinead O'Connor even like Mc Lyte? It just seems like they probably never even met lol.

  • why didn't i know that this existed until i stumbled upon the vinyl! love this! and sinead looks fantastic

  • night mare on elm st pt 4

  • sinead looked so fine...eyebrows, lips, cheekbone

  • I wonder if mc lyte knew she was in a bi-sexual themed video! very subtle and awesome... also, i like THIS multi-cultural, cross genre collabo better than Beyonce and lady gaga (even though i can't lie, i do like their song too).

  • I remember when this song was all the rage... I feel old.

  • This is probably like one of the first songs to feature a rapper in a song. Of course today, its almost unheard of not to have a rapper featured in a song. But I remember seeing this video when it first came out, and thinking, thats weird. Lol

  • @tallcoolone09 No, it's not. Kanye has made his career out of stealing other people's songs and ruining them by rapping over them.

  • @anonymous19601 Kanye West*

  • @anonymous19601 That sounds more as "raping" songs instead of "rapping" over them. You're right all the way!

  • Come on we got to Hurry!! I'M DRIVING!!!

  • good song to make sweet love too.

  • wheb fucknn.... it's the ...............

  • i want to join the pole shift survival group or start the new one.

  • This song still rocks!!! From 3:05 to 3:34 is classic Sinead, no one does that better. That's her signature sound right there...love her man!!!

  • @tallcoolone09 Thats my favourite part in the song! :)

  • j a m i e

  • FANTASTIC!!! I WAS 16 IN 1986 AND LISTEN THIS SONG UNTIL TODAY!!!

  • @70SULACO Same here!

  • nightmare on elmstreet 4.... before the new world order was outed

  • sinead rocks

  • Never surrender

  • 3:05 she starts to get really pissed

  • you waste no time do you... to please me...

  • she looks sooo different now in 2011

  • You can just see the sadness in her even as she sings this pop-song. It's obvious she wants to be anywhere but doing this video!

  • @GRODY Eh -- she's doing the job, because her contract/agent/record company stipulated it. I don't think it's so much sadness as it is just being "Cool". You had to be there in the 80s....

  • @kedgwell I was in the 80's and I also have eyes. I can tell when someone looks either depressed or bored. Ever been bored or depressed at your job (which is apperently what she's doing?)? Ever had to do stuff you didn't want to?

  • Then MC Lyte ruined the whole thing. Lesbian?

  • @p0479 What?!? How did MC Lyte ruin this? I think she brought something to this track.

  • Not to be a troll, but this song's name is kind of ironic considering what Sinead protested...

  • Classic Tommy Nappi height of the evening song!!!!

    Brings back some great memories........

  • The video is so bad,but she was so pretty and the music is so fantastic!

  • @Kaibrigh It was 1987 -- aside from the technological limitations, videos were less important than the music.

  • I played this song when my boyfriend came over 2 nights ago. We were in bed in no time ! ;D

  • @emmababesxoxo1 O.o thats gay =/

  • @MrJuancarlosferrero your mums gay

  • @emmababesxoxo1 ='( YOUR momma is GAY xppp''

  • @MrJuancarlosferrero i acctually seriously think i have a gay dog :\, its soooooo weird!

  • @emmababesxoxo1 castrated dogs are gay :/

  • @MrJuancarlosferrero what does castrated mean? hahaha

  • @emmababesxoxo1 :\ it means his nuts .l. got removed

  • @MrJuancarlosferrero eeww.....

  • Thumbs up if a cockroach death scene brought you here lol

  • @arturocas90 i love nightmare on elm streets, and i just watched the 4th one tonight and the roach scene is the only scene i couldnt watch lol =)

  • @arturocas90 And didn't it also play at the end credits

  • @arturocas90 watch?v=_n4lVWFwFoM

  • soundtrack for Nightmare on Elm Street Part IV.

  • I love her bald head!!

  • @ky21cr12 I think she's gone pretty far. She has built up a solid fan base over many years.

  • For a N.Y.C. B-Boy in Berlin in the middle of the 'Acid House' Movement. This was a song you could get the hardest US Army Brother to the dance floor. Lyte broke it down for the Ladies in a way that gave them props and control without being hoes. This song got crazy Club Play, and introduced Sinead to U.S. Hip Hop Heads.

  • @tonybennett3 Say it.

  • One word, TOUGH.

  • wow i bought the cassette in 1991

  • this song and freddy's hand as jaws are the best thing in part 4!!!

  • @TheDayfornight yeah, the Dream Master!

  • Nothing against rap or MC Lyte, but MC Lyte's portion ruined the song. I wished they could've orchestrated it better.

  • I liked Sinead and MC Lyte both separately before the collaboration. Lion and the Cobra is one of my favorite albums. Too bad this version of the song isn't on the album. Lyte is a pioneer in Hip Hop and Sinead was really breaking ground at that time. Whom ever A&R'd this collaboration was genius for getting Lyte on the track!

  • 2:39 erm, yeah, thanks for that MC Lyte...

  • I wish my hair would do that!

  • @kimJosette 80s

  • I Heard This In A Nightmare On Elm Street Movie And Always Loved It Since..

  • @PrinceEnvi Me to it playes at the end of a nightmare on elm street 4 the dream master.

  • @PrinceEnvi

Yeah, me too. She has a beautiful voice. But Nightmare on Elm Street is what I remember it from. I think it was the fourth one.

  • @RayAir1 This would also fit WrestleMania IV or Survivor Series '88. Since all 3 Nightmare IV, Survivor Series and WrestleMania IV all were in 1988, same with the 1st ever Royal Rumble

  • @PrinceEnvi Yes! That is also how I came to love this song and most of the Chysalis soundtrack for Nightmare on Elm Street Part IV.

  • @PrinceEnvi me 2

  • @PrinceEnvi ikr i had to look it up right away

  • @PrinceEnvi When I hear this, I always think of Freddy coming up in the background about to claim Debbie...was it Debbie?

  • @PrinceEnvi YES!!!!!!!! Ever since I was 5!

  • this song is the shit

  • wow MC Lyte just killed this song. Her vocals/rap presence doesn't even fit this song. Grab any other artists, but a minute rap freestyle in this song? Just NO.

  • @BIGDADDYF50 ...have to agree with you on that. Another artist or even just leave it as a small instrumental interlude...but the randomness of that rap didn't seem to fit this song...maybe another song, but not this one. Nope.

  • @daretosayit HMMM i beg to differ, i respect your opinion but this song and its remixes WORKED WELLL in the dance community, plus it was rare for 2 artists like this to collaborate..history in the making..

  • @htownlithium ... I'll admit, I was surprised I wasn't kicked for my comment...lol. Many of my friends also share your view - so I'm in the minority. Much of my bias is perhaps because I simply do not like rap - whether as a standalone or as verses interpolated into a song; thus I prefer the version of this song (and any other song) without the rap. I will say that the collaboration did branch both artists into different genres beyond their standard, so I certainly agree about the special collab

  • @daretosayit i think the rap is genius, personally. it's not like this is some super deep track. it's a dance-pop song about sex. a very good one.

  • @swooningtree .... While I do not like rap 'per se', I can unequivocally say that during the era this song came out, I could bear to listen to it in this type of context (as a guest spot in another song) BECAUSE rap was also more dance-pop/house party/humorous/light-hearted in delivery (even if the message was serious) - which is why I still like this song....yes I'd prefer it (and any other song) without the rap, but it is what it is. Some say 'yay', others say 'nay'.

  • @BIGDADDYF50 Yeah, Lyte killed it, in a negative way. If they needed a rap during the bridge of the song, they should've went back and re-edited the audio and video transition to the rap portion, taking out some stuff.

  • i just put my hands on sineads music but to me it seems lion and the cobra is her best album!

  • I heard this song from freddy krugar part 4 i was 12 the movie scared the Shit out of me when i was a kid I still remember this song...

  • i love her i love sinead ~

  • yup, the first time i heard her voice (Mandinka) i fell in love too..

  • Lyte as a Rock!! I am the Lyte MC Lyte!!

  • me encantaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa i me recuerda la pelicula de freddy k

  • This is a sexy song.

  • I don't remember this song coming out in the uk, 1st time i heard it was at the end of the nightmare on elm st 4 end credits so it must have been a US release, songs good but really think the raps a bit naff

  • I dont remember the rap by MC Lyte on this song when it came out.

  • @miette424 the album version (lion and the cobra) MC Lyte aint on it.

  • Comment removed

  • @miette424 MC Lyte's Rap Is ONLY On The 12" Version Of The Song. There's More Verses To Her Raps On The 12" Single As Well . Always Innovative & Ahead Of The Curve, And That's On Her Debut Album!!! Love Her!!!!

  • I wish they would put this on rock band 3.

  • I heard this song in Nightmare on elm street 4 and looked it up. Once I heard the full song I fell in love!

  • nice one!!

  • some tim and eric shit but shes amazing. video producer clowned

  • She was the first bald woman who I ever thought was absolutely beautiful and her voice and music added to her irresistability.

  • she reminds me of natalie portman in every video of that period

  • very different and groudbreaking for it's time and a damn good song

  • sinead and mc lyte! the two tops in terms of respected no-nonse ladies in the hip-hop and burgeoning alternative-rock movements respectively. one of my favorite cross-genre duets ever! nice upload.

  • This would fun on drums, keys and singing.

  • Somebody tell harmonix to put this on rock band 3.

  • I wish they would put this on rock band 3 it would be fun on drums.

  • Hell yea!! this song was a jammie because of MC Lyte.

  • You ain't got no choice but to give MC LYTE her props!! The first female rapper! She's original. This whole song is tight!

  • @jcjjcc no offense but there female rappers on wax since 79

  • @eo3scwspicyburrito Ahhh hell naw...Don't U dare talk shit about MC Lyte...She's the fucking best.

  • Why She Not Doing Nothing

  • you can check in, but you cant check out...CRUSH;)

  • "No pain no gain!" - Freddy Kruegar

  • @hannibalcannibalx It's Krueger

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah she should have cameod in Nightmare 4.

  • Much props to LYTE for adding the icing on the cake.....

  • more bass, harder drums, less string, more guttural voice and that is what I`ve been thinking of remixing...

  • true original one of a kind

  • Find your balance Rick-san!!

  • Excellent vocals on this track. So awesome.

  • I never would have thought that these two would collaberate.. Nice sone though..

  • I remember the song from the brilliant album. It was in the Nightmare on Elmstreet 4 soundtrack??? that's weird. I loved when they played it at the "alternative" clubs in the late 80's

  • Terrific singer! They don't make em' like that these days!

  • What's with that bald head???

  • @Romeofud what's with you?

  • Amazing !!! no other words ..

  • Amazing !!! what a track !! edgy and brilliant ...

  • Can you say........ GORGEOUSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • one of the best songs to use a rapper...sinead is one of the few women who can rock a bald head...

  • Yeah, I have searched 4 this 4 so long OMG!

love this joint & Mc Lyte always has my heart!

  • The fact that Mc Lyte is on this track tells you how fresh and dope it is!

  • i never liked this song when i first heard it as a teenager, on the local alternative station. this back in 1995. but then i came to understand exactly what she's singing about, and how profound it is for being so simple.

    love mc lyte here too.

  • i love this version with MC Lyte. very groundbreaking song and video. to feature a rapper on a pop song back in 1988. wow!

  • great song. I actually saw sinead last summer when i was walking in downtown chicago, I was like "OMG SINEAD!" she giggled and said "hi". i almost peed myself.

  • @shakethelizard that is soo cool. you very lucky. did u get an autograph or a pic?

  • reminds me of NEOS4

  • I cut MC Lyte out of mine. It flows better without that rap.

  • I used to work all the time to this song, until some burnt jerkoff came along and push the weightbar down too far when i was bench pressing and snapped my elbows in half. All the sudden for no reason at all, my arms fell off and bug arms started to grow in from where my human arms used to be. Its strange because next thing i know, im in a roach motel and im stuck in goo. My face pealed off from the goo and then the burnt fucker squeezed the box with me inside of it. My insides oozed out all over

  • i was watching NM.E.S pt4 and i heard thiz song in it,so i had to checkout the video!!!

  • Love this track...Made me want to watch Nightmare on elm Street 4 again, lol...

  • Great song..but parts of this video she looks bored and annoyed..like " Oh yea, baby you're the king, you're the king."

  • Nightmare 4 just screams, bleeds, and reeks of 80's- similar to movies like Teen Witch, Sixteen Candles, & Ferris Bueller. It's one of my favorite retro movies. It also has the best characters- everybody says "oh, they were just like my group of friends in high school!"

  • I heard her voice for the first time in this song..... and fell in love!!!!!

  • "i beat around the bush and give you all sorts of clues"... if thats not the biggest tip off that she's a major rug muncher... other than the fact that her head is shaved like g.i. jane, there's clitoris shaped flowers throughout the entire video, she's getting hugs from a Hulk Hogan sized woman while she keeps her hands in the chest level pockets of her dykes-on-bikes leather jacket... oh yeah and the swaying two-step that shes tries to play off as actually being serious about = epic

    ps no homo

  • @moreaudr Hahaaaha!! I agree.

  • PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME X

  • Yeah, when I watched Nightmare 4 I always watched the credits just to hear this song. This song is unlike her later songs. Wonder if she hates this song now even though it rocks?

  • I have someone in mind....lol

  • nightmare 4 :)

  • the shit out of me when i st watched it as a kid back when i was like 5--what was my mom thinking--lol--anyway, this son rocks---

  • sexy song...

  • Quite possibly the only bald chick i'd do...

  • This song is so sexy and sensual...

And Sinead with her shaved head, porcelain features and leather jacket is sexy without even trying to be.

  • fantasticaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • me 2 trmin8ter27

  • this song hooked me on Sinead, Ms O'Connor if your freaky

  • this song reminds me of nightmare on elm street 4 when then girl gets turned into a roach and freddy crushes her in the roach motel

  • I do believe that WAS the song playing right before that scene.

  • i know, debbie--she was so tough with her weight lifting huh?lol---freddie was a masterpiece---and this song just further proves that the 80's had some of the most dynamic songs in music history---cool and smooth melodies, amazing voices, just sensual songs---i also love the song back to the wall by davinyls from nightmare on elm street 4 also---i love both of these songs--they go so well with the scenes--the 80's rocked it seemed--i was born in 86, so i was 3 when nightmare 4 came out-it scared

  • @pbf316

Yes she was all tough lifting the weights huh? :) wow so you were born in 86 ? your just a baby :) I am a total Nightmare on Elm Street freak ! I have all of the movies and watch them all , all the time, I just love them and I am supper excited for the remake to come out soon how bout you ?

  • nice

  • 5*!
