Civil 3D 2011. Import surface from Google Earth

Tell me please how can I import surface in best resolution but bigger than my screen? I want to import surface 15 kilometers per 5 kilometers and on your tutorial there is only tut about importing surface which you see in Google Earth.

Hi, you can pan your's surface, and put it in the civil. In this case, you'll get correct surfaces. You can merge they to one. (My eng worse than your's)))))))

Hi, I use AMD 4core, 4Gb DDR3, Windows 7. I have similar problem in c3d 2009, but in c3d 2010-2011 ok. I have problem w surface import if i do it twise. Just rebut google earth.

I did everything you've done and it doesn't work for me. Every time it freezes at 49%. What computer do you use? Mine is quite good with 3gb ram but windows 7.
