A year if you work hard. The intro is the hardest thing. The chords are nothing really. You can learn them in a month or two.

This is amazing. I have to try a 12-string guitar sometimes. I have one question. How do you make that fretboard slide sound on the electric like that slide at the very beginning of the solo. It's in a lot of songs I like but I can't figure exactly what your fingers are supposed to be doing to get that sound!

@Depaully That's a common issue with 12-strings because of the high tension caused by the extra strings. I had mine professionally set up. I suggest you do the same with yours. It's worth it.
