  • I got similar results by using a shake weight

  • @roflcopterabs try doing pushups on your knees. Also alot of people give up on P90X because of the pullups. Try using bands or a lat pull down machine. When I started I onlt did sets of 15 pushups. Im up to sets of 35.

  • I envy you! I keep trying p90x but after a couple of pulL and push up, my elbows hurt like hell. Doctor told me I just need to lay off 2 weeks. I did and nothing changed. Now I layed off 2 months and just the same....... I wanna be p90x ripped...

  • There probably is an improvement, but as overhead lighting was used in the final pics vs front lighting in the before shots it makes it difficult to tell how much of the change is really due to P90X and how much is judicious use of lighting. It would be better if the same lighting had been used for both sets of shots.

  • Diet is definitely a main factor. I've tried this before and didn't change my diet at all, not only are the workouts harder but it's also harder to get results. I'm starting to learn how to cook and there is alot of good food in the diet book. Wish me luck on round 2 : P

  • Surprises me how stupid people are they don't even understand how theyre own body works. This is the only thing you need to understand when you feel conscience about ur body and want 2 do something about it:

    u can spend 40 hours a week in a gym eat nothing but healthy food and yes u will get results guaranteed. But your not going to live like that forever are u. Therefore u won't look like that forever. The way to maintain is to gradually change your lifestyle it will benefit you in the long run

  • PEOPLE! your body doesn't run on exercise... it runs on what you put into it! this dude got the results he did because: a) he ate like a champion... just piles of veggies and protien. b)he was already in good shape to begin with. look at everyone who has extaordinary results. Most likely they were already in good shape to begin with. YOU MUST EAT RIGHT. EVERY DAY.

  • Bullshit i just spent 3 months of my life doing P90X and i look nothing like this!

    It takes at least a year to get like this.

  • @arbiterg You can do P90X all you want, but if you don't change the way you eat, you won't get results. I could've went to the gym 6 days a week and got the same results, but the nutrition guide helped me get the results because I had no idea how to eat properly. Plus, where you start from means a lot too. If you are over weight you can't compared your results with someone who is lean when they start...don't be a skeptic, I got these results in three month's.

    I just finished the first round yesterday and yes i had some changes but they wer nothing like yours!

    And no i was not overweight when i started, and yes i did change my diet plan!

    What should i do?

    Do another round or starve myself again like i did a couple of months ago????

  • @arbiterg How tall are you and how much do you weigh? I NEVER starved myself, and I ate 6 to 7 meals a day. Literally a TON of protein shakes. I never missed a day. I workeded out a lot in highschool and college, but when I started doing P90X i had been about 2 years. Because I used to lift pretty hard, I had muscle memory on my side. That I'm sure was a factor...

  • ok so i did p90x and i did "doubles" cuz i really wanted to get my abs fast!! however.... how come i didnt get abs like yours?? i mean like my abs look pretty good but i wanted them to be like you know super 8 pack abs!! and not only that like i wanted to build a good amount of muscle but instead it just got me thin and just very toned (which i'm not complaining about like my arms and chest were shredded ) but i wanted them to be built too along with shredded abs! help me out what i did wrong :(

    a. make sure you get enough rest for each muscle group between days and

    b. provide adequate muscle confusion to get the best possible results

  • hey man, thanks for posting this. I started three weeks ago. My body is (was) a lot like yours - a little skinny especially in the arms, but moderately fit in the shoulders/arms. This video gives me major motivation to follow the diet hardcore and work my ass off.

    All the p90x videos on YouTube have people starting as string beans or couch potatoes. Glad I came across one with someone who started in decent shape like I did.

  • I just started 4 days ago, i get up at 5am eat breakfast 5:30-6:00 am and work out 7-8,

    follow the diet, eat a ton of protein and try to get my 5-6 food into my day, I know its only been 4 days, but i feel a lot better and am already noticing a difference. Anybody wanna have a change in their life, start now, do the p90x and stay committed Good luck!! :)

    I got the p90x for christmas and i will start the program on january 1st i will work very hard and if i dont look like this in march i will let every one know that it's bullshit!!!!

  • @arbiterg it works for me. im 12, doing it for about 1 week on the schedule, but maybe 2 extra weeks doiing whichever ones i want. im devolopiing a defined 6 pack and pectoral muscles. it works.

  • @arbiterg Well, I hope you follow the diet plan and work fucking hard and don't give up, because about 80% of getting in shape is a good diet. P90X gives you a great diet to follow. Really easy too.

    So please remember to follow the diet they give you and work hard.

    Because if you don't do that, and don't get good results, and then post a video about it, then you're the one that's bullshit.

    And by the way, for most people, it is not easy the first few times.

  • Coming to the conclusion of this video, I don't see the need why you started the program in the beginning, you looked absolutely fine, why waste 140 dollars on a program that is honestly not meant for you. Heck I would take the body @ Day one and please get real and man up, there are overweight and very much obese people in this country and you are calling yourself "soft" in the video and no "self confidence".
