a lot of phasing & timing problems, sounds like it could be good... some of the writing is tasty, but performance is very typical high schoolish. Percussion is not on the same level as the band, they are horribly embarrassing.

The drill book and the guard work is amazing. Not too crazy about the music because I have heard KFS a million times before and the audio on this vid is horrible.

Whoever Mardizzle922 is should learn something about marching band. Prospect wins on degree of difficulty alone. The percussion section with the stickwork by the guard is maybe the most exciting 2 minutes of marching band I've ever seen...and I've seen a lot!

No, they were champions for the Class AAA and AAAA.

Macomb High was the champion for the other two smaller classes.

The school is rich, thats what make them good!!

I remember seeing this show at St. Louis [I believe... maybe it was Indy?] and being absolutely amazed at how the drumline moved. Not to take anything away from the band... as a quad guy I tend to watch quadlines. All I know is those kids moved like corps lines.

Marian usually can't come because of ISU, though they did go to both competitions when they were on different weekends in 2003.

We are lucky to have a lot of professional staff, though we've had them for about twenty years, before they were at all known in Drum Corps.

oh, by the way, i was from the Alan B. Shepard marching astros, we usually did pretty decent at UofI i remember we beat you guys the 04 season for best drum major in parade, we were so happy that we at least stopped you guys from sweeping the ENTIRE show, lol awesome band though, keep it real!!

Good times. At the part where there's the flute/clarinet trade-off and the rest of the band is doing tai-chi, I remember having to basically hurdle over a trombone on the ground while at the same time avoid getting speared by the other trombone next to him. Oh, I loved Asian Episodes... :)
