♥ this piano composition. This is definitely the next composition I'm learning :-), especially part III. As soon as I finish the Alain Payette's preludes ^^; Thank you for sharing!!!!!
You should hear his Beethoven CD. I bought it and every piece is impeccable just like this only more so because YouTube doesn't give you the sound quality as your CD player does. So I'm going to purchase his Blu-rays also since I read comments about how wonderful they are. He appears to be the latest sensational pianist these days. His interpretations are flawless; absolutely brilliant!
umm...not for nothing but...whats that new youtube option on the player? that adds like 100 voices in the background that make all videos demonic when played? only when clicked tho...anyways, i love this version, never liked no.2 anywhere else ive heard it.
Why is it that youtubers find it necessary to leave such in-depth, intellectual, irrelevant comments. Take "ThePVGS1's" comment for instance, was that really called for? Is anyone going to say to them selves, "Oh my god! "ThePVGS1" is such a genius, someone give him the smartest person in the world award." No! no one cares what you know. Just leave comments which are relevant and contribute to the Youtube community. Thank you and goodnight!

Is anyone going to say to them selves, "Oh my god! "ThePVGS1" is such a genius, someone give him the smartest person in the world award." No!That is sort of an insult. My comment was describing that his performance was, one of the best! Figure-speaking. How can YouTubers be mean and use words that insult others? You could have just said: "ThePVGS1, can you please just leave comments which are relevant and contribute to the YouTube community. Thank you!"
Ignoring the reverb from the hall, this is a very very good interpretation. Not too fast, excellent clarity, not rushed. I would say maybe bump the tempo up marginally by 1-3bpm, but that's my preference.
@TruthfuLie if someone plays an instrument, depending on their depth of knowledge with the instrument they can probably tell from certain nuances of the performance the emotional state of the musician. Especially when one considers that a classical piece as famous as this has probably been played countless times and by hundreds of different musicians, each adding their own unique touches to it.
This one is almost loud enough, but first two are too silent, and my laptop can't get any louder, so I can hardly hear anything unless it's deadly quiet around me.... if you could turn up the volume anyhow?
This is probably the best recording of moonligh sonata existing. It's just beautiful. I can play part 1 myself, and i would love to learn this one... I've played for more than 5 years i am soon 16 years old. Of course this is piano on a high level... But nothing is impossible, eh?
i play piano, and i can play this peice, fully. I've been learning it for 1 year to perfection. Everytime I play it people are like 'wow! there so impressed because im only 14 lol
@anaelisebeth noone cares. lol just kidding its amazing that you can actually play this at only 14...15 now? but you should probably not go on someones video to say what you can do, it comes off as bragging ;) anyways good luck with learning piano :D i suck, can only play no.1 and fur elise perfectly T_T
Well, I think this is miles better than (nowadays) heavy metal...
