@MsLithuanianGirl The color of someones eye doesn't matter if a person is black or white it's genetics. Blue eyes are recessive. You're mother having those eyes only gave you a 1/4 chance to get blue eyes. The dominate traits overcame your mother's recessive and gave you brown eyes. Just because by chance a little girl with a black father had blue eyes gives you no right to be jealous. If it bother's you that much just get colored contacts.

Derogatory? Please. Half is half, period. It has never mattered whether blacks are referred to as black-americans or african-americans. Ive NEVER heard anyone call a white man a white-american. They're just american, so what's it gonna matter if it's "politically correct" or not? Besides, Im half and Ive never thought of it as "derogatory". Sorry if I offended you but, lighten up please.

Half breed is a term used for animals, not people. It's not unlike calling a woman a bitch (ie, female dog). That's why it's offensive.
