  • Why clorox change on 9/11!?!

  • I accually started to work on a emergency storage myself and it's not that hard!

The hard part is about get enough water.

So beast12101, can you do a seperate video about the water preperation part and go into all the details?

  • @dannemannn I do have a 2 part on my madworldsurvival channel

  • Where's everybody bugging to, Minnesota in February or Arizona desert in August? How are you going to get there when the gas stations are all empty?

Get away from the big city now and you wont have to bug anywhere.

  • @gpuckit I disagree with you. If there were a SHTF situation either by man or nature and people ran about in WROL, your dog if your sentry. You must take care of it as they are you. Cats though, I hear they taste like chicken. J/K :^)

  • sorry not to be nasty but if the world had a shtf, wrol next week, if you got kids, family all im saying is cats and dogs can fend for them selfs your water stash sould be for you (sorry)

  • you sound like my computer sub teacher seriously i thougt that was you XD

  • how much does one of them boxes weigh?

  • THIS IS A GREAT F'N IDEA DUH TO ME...IM NOT AS SMART AS I THOUGHT ZIPLOCK BAGS HEEERE I COME

  • @craigushka50 Shut the fuck up you religious asshole. You're a big part of the problem of this fucked up world.

  • RICE, BEANS, WATER ,SUGAR, SALT,DRY MILK,DRY NUTS OR ANY DRY FOOD ,GUNS AND AMMO, SILVER OR GOLD FOR THINGS YOU DINT THING YOU NEED (FOR TRADE ) , PAIN KILLERS, TYLENOL , FIRST AID KIT , ALCOHOL, TOOL KNIFE , FLASHLIGHT WITH EXTRA BATTERIES, AND A BUNCH OF GUTS TO KILL SOME ONE WHO IS TRYING TO TAKE YOUR SHIT

  • how much does that dog weigh?

  • @TheAnonymous357 88 lbs

  • @beast12101 Do you store 1 gallon of water per day for him? Or should I store less for my dog? My dog is about 90 lbs.

  • @TheAnonymous357 go by what he usually goes through in a day, measure what his bowl holds

  • i woulda left the boullion in the glass jar because typically they are not that large and keeps it fresher longer...or you could have used a Capri Sun drink pouch and vacuum sealed them up

  • keep the water for you and eat the dog. on paper plates.

  • sir your nasty and cold blooded.

  • inspiration!

  • i am not going to help anyboy, i warned alot of people and they laughed and i offered to get people stuff, but they didnt want to hear it. so they get NOTHING!

  • To make laundry soap use 1/8th cup of borax and 1/8 th cup of baking soda...I use it all the time...lot cheaper than the store bought mixtures! And you don't have to be in a emerg situ to use it.

  • @surfnfx actually making some this week, but its the fels naptha, washing soda, borax recipe

  • Good point !

  • I'm not hating on your supplies, there awesome. But would'nt you need more baking soda if it was a bug out situation?? or do you have more we just dont see it ?

  • @Zachj888 oh I have more , I think shown i other videos but, if you bugging out, you would be limited on what you could take

  • Is that you, MacGyver?

  • beast12101---Baking soda is amazing....I also use it for foot trouble....odors gone....itching....GONE!!!!

PLEASE BE MINDFUL...THOSE CUP A' SOUPS WITH THE FREEZE DRIED VEGGIES....ALL GO BAD WITH FUNGUS...IN SIX MONTHS, OR LESS..BEWARE!

I NEVER USE THEM FOR LONG TERM STORAGE. I WASTED CARTONS OF THEM AFTER SEEING THIS. A COUPLE DROPS OF CLOROX IN THE WATER BOTTLES...LASTS FOREVER. STORAGE AREA?...DARK COOL AREA. SUNLIGHT AND HEAT DESTROYS YOUR LONG LIFE STORAGE CAPABILITIES.

  • You forgot to add Zombie Apocalypse to your list.

  • BEAST1201 WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO DO THIS VIDEO?

  • THE GUY'S RIGHT..A LOT SMARTER....THANK YOU.

  • Gray Poupon

  • Bannack? In Australia we call it "Damper". Love it

  • YES, WHERE DID YOU GET THE GREY WATER STORAGE CONTAINERS?

PEOPLE KEEP ASKING AND YOU ARE NOT SAYING, I WANT TO KNOW ALSO.

  • @patriotusa200 I HAVE SAID MANY TIMES BELOW, FRED MEYERS, WHY ARE YOU TYPING IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS?

  • @beast12101 when are you going to make the hygiene video?

  • @darkmagelover I one called bugout hygiene

  • @beast12101 thank you

  • @beast12101 YA WHY ARE YOU GUYS TYPING IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS??? GOSH! :p

    GOOD VIDEO

  • @patriotusa200 OK, OK, DON'T GET SO BEASTLY.

I TYPE LG BECAUSE ITS EASIER TO READ, OK

SO NOW THAT I AM HERE, WHERE IS FRED MYERS?

I AM NOT A MIND READER, WISH I WAS, LOL.

  • NEVER USE YEAST, ITS BAD FOR YOU.

  • @patriotusa200 there is good and bad yeast, you must be more specific than a blanket statement that all yeast is bad

  • @patriotusa200 Yeast is everywhere - in the air around you.

  • Vinegar rules! Great video, btw! Thanks. I just lived through Japan's biggest recorded quake and had great peace of mind because I was well stocked. I only went to the stores to see the long lines, but didn't need to buy anything. It also felt good to share with friends who weren't prepared. Only made small dent in my supplies.

  • first of all, awsome video, i will definately keep watching more. one thing i try really hard to do, is to get the ppl around me into the "preparing" mentality. it takes alot to survive in an shtf situation, and if we are preparing for us and our family, its going to be hard to help neighbors and ppl coming to our door. the way i see it, the more ppl are prepared, the less ppl will be trying to take your supplies meaning there would be less chaos (in theory).

  • Good and informitive info.I found something to keep.thanks (you too Max)!

  • A very well thought plan with smooth execution

  • 5:20! Check out his smile - favorite part of the video. :)

Although, I like the commentary from 6:30-7:00! - Amen

    Be a blessing!

  • @careyeOhkey thanks

  • look up apple cider vinegar GREAT stuff good vids thank you

  • Do you take the vinegar straight or add something to it?

  • @piehi2 2 or 3 spoons in a cup of water with honey if you want look up apple cider vinegar DONT just use normal distilled vinegar look it up apple cider vin. is GREAT for you there is some vids on utube or just google it

  • @piehi2 straight

  • If the crash doesn't kill you, the crap you eat will.

  • @marieatthelake well I was hoping your channel had videos helping others about what foods would be better for them but I didnt find any videos at all. ?? maybe you could make some to help people instead of leaving comments such as you did.

  • @beast12101 Firstly, thank you for your video. Your point is well taken but I do all my computering in the public library and have no idea, at all, how to make a video.

I do, however know a little about nutrition and I know prepared foods, almost all, have Monsanto products in them. To me, that's bad. YouTube search "GMO". Dr Mercola says plastic bottles are poisonous. Go to rense (dot) (com) and educateyourselves (dot) (com) Links on corruption and nutrition (GMO) are great, others, not so.

  • what about food for your dooog!?!?!

  • @Lili0000007 he's covered :)

  • How long do you think collagen and bottled water would last?

  • @47Indigo47 collagen? water is fine for year, it can be extended through chemicals, but just plan to filter water when you go to use it.

  • Hygiene.. baking soda.. just one bottle?

  • @Careline77 all my preps at that time were meant to be mobile easily , cause I move around alot.

  • Geee, you're going to die of all the sugar & salt!

  • in case of emergency you usually evacuate and would be leaving your supplies behind.

  • @1bethechange if leaving by vehicle, those are all stored in totes that can be put in to a vehicle

  • I did not see medications,matches,and TP.

  • @DBSpy1 probably cause the video is called "food and water"

  • @beast12101 but matches taste fun! :D

  • @DBSpy1 OK, thank you, just trying to maybe help save a life like you are.

  • problem with plastig bags is air penetrates them. i use sealed glass and sealed hard PP jars.

  • You can shower with a spray bottle and only use about 6 oz of water. Wet ur hair, use very little shampoo and rinse. You'll be surprised how little it takes to get clean. Keep your hair short or be prepared to cut it. Staying clean and smelling decent isn't just a good health practice physically but will also help u feel better about the mess ur in. Sounds odd I know but its true. Tarps are very good for catching water that can be boiled and used for hygiene purposes. No filters needed.

  • If it came down to it, I would get rid of the pet.

  • Baking soda is good for a lot of stuff even hygiene. Also a good idea is to stock up on Vinegar. That is good for cooking, and cleaning supplies that are pet friendly!

  • Nice Video! Where'd you get your "water" containers? I only find blue kerosene containers.

    Richard of Danbury

  • @Richardofdanbury made by blitz, I got them at fredmeyers

  • Frends maybe but if you want to loose all your stash just let it be known you will give it away or they will take it.

  • if a disaster happened, where would the government send us while the areas are being fixed? will they send us to tents? ....... what are we allowed to take with us? how will we get there? .................. i plan on building a caned food storage little by little, because im on a strict budget...... but i thought if i have to leave my apartment, its not like i can take all those canned goods with me........ so i thought maybe have a big back pack filled with food and essentials i can take.

  • @rcslash26 I figure they will send us to one or those concentration camps they built. And they have a lot of coffins in case we should happen to die. You wouldn't want FEMA to waste those concentration camps would you.

  • @rcslash26 Don't let the goverment send you anywhere. A country of sheep are soon ruled by wolves...

  • I really dont understand the need for a food storage. I just tend to think its not healthy to worry SO MUCH about almost everything. If I worry so much that I have to store years of food in my house, I might as well never get on a plane and worry more about getting hit by a car............... or choke to death while eating.....

  • @GapToN I dont worry, because Im prepared. you have car insurance for the "what if's" dont you.

  • @GapToN Are you at all concerned with what happens if there is a snow or ice storm where you are or if you are further south where that almost never happens what about a flood or hurricane and how you will feed you family in a short duration event such as this? Maybe you are planning on taking them to McDonalds? December 2008 we had a 3 day ice storm event that knocked out power to 300k people for 3 to 5 days. What would you do? Do you have family or pets that rely on you to eat?

  • Neither did all those folks during Katrina... Remember all the ones that looted and killed each other for food and water because they had none?

    just my $.02

  • @GapToN When your hungry you will worry.

  • Helping others is nice but its also a quick way for word to get around that you have what others dont. I've already decided that I'm not going to become the local salvation army cause people will not sit by and go hungry if they know you have food. They will kill you to get to it. If I could feed everyone I would but I can't so I have to take care of my own. You will eventually have to turn people away and at that point you will be a target. You had food before so in their minds you have it now.

  • Make sure you have Hydrogen Peroxide.

  • @CosmosPrivateer Im not a big hydrogen peroxide fan, but in a video about food and water I'm not sure I would add it.

  • you know your SURVIVIN' when SALT becomes "foo-foo" stuff :-b

  • i think you should use something other than the weight loss shakes, because they will speed up your metabolism and making your food supply last that much shorter.

  • Chemically levened breads suck, thats why we still use yeast.

  • oh yeah: you individuals who are complaining about genetically modified foods, you should probably stop taking medication and vaccinations, because those are the results of genetic research as well. You should probably stop eating all vegetables too for the same reason. I would really encourage all of you to contact a biologist or google all of the benefits of genetic research. If you approach it with an open mind, seeking education rather than conflict, I think you'll find some amazing things!

  • You made a couple comments on cleaning and I thought I'd throw in some cents. If you dry boil baking soda, the result is washing soda. You get a small amount of suds, but it's the active ingredient of most powder detergents. Just put a cup of baking soda in a pot and put it on the range on medium heat. It will start smoking. That smoke is CO2 (carbon di oxide) being released, the same stuff you breath out. Stir it until it stops smoking and you should have 1/2 a cup of washing soda. Instant soap

  • Along with food and water storage, have you any other tips for starting a food supply for a small family? What is your take on seeds for growing crop?

  • @FaithLessTQWH well seeds for sprouting is the easiest, but start small, its a big learning curve to starting small will minimize cost of failure. hearty lettuce, beans, carrots, all pretty easy, start by asking what grows best in your area from a local shop

  • All you have is a bunch of GMO's that will kill you anyway.

  • @wildnutria I guess I'll just give up and starve, dont want that GMO, cant believe Iv lasted this far.

  • @beast12101 hey i think there are some websites that have non gmo foods. that last a long time and there is always go hunting and planting a garden : /

  • Mac &cheese goes bad in less than one yr. Just say'n

  • @phillyb61 how long do you need it last? rotate your storage

  • @phillyb61 Mac and cheese will last several years......What would go bad in mac n cheese?

  • Aspartame is poison and in large amounts could effect to brain transmitter concentrations and a long term use of large doses might increase the risk of some mental illnessess.

But the amount that foods considered as edible contain it won't do you any harm if you're a normal healthy human being.

Of course your body doesn't need aspartame and you could replace that with something it does, but I wouldn't get hysterical about it, especially not in a survival situation.

  • @beast12101 I see you are getting prepared for the worst like I am but whats with the weigh loss shakes? Then why stock up on food.LOL Just busting them dude.

  • Where did you get those gray water bottles? They look like the red gas cans, but are made for water. I cant find them anywhere around here.

  • @Iridium242 their made from Blitz, I got them at fred meyers

  • @beast12101 Cool thanks will have to check next time I am near that store in the city.

  • Get seeds get the hell out of the big cities buy a small farm or a land and grow.

your jobs are dead are not guaranteed soon the states and cities will lay off 10's of millions of people .Teachers police and other civic and state workers will find they are in line to be fired soon.

  • Buying individual packs of whatever is wasting lots of money. Those Idahoan potatoes for instance cost under $6 for a half gallon size carton at Sam's Club.

Individual packs of tuna, spam, etc are at least twice the price and a fraction of the quantity versus buying the same product in a can, no matter where you buy it.

I suggest investing in a Foodsaver and buying food in bulk, especially dry goods. It's far cheaper in the long run at the expense of some work now.

  • I have well water is it still ok for a year?

  • @KJ4TEE Not being treated municipal water , I would be at least put some bleach in it, they make a water conditioner that keeps water good for several years.

  • those drink mixes look ASPARTAME FILLED not good.

  • @fromthe209 are you sure, thats not a very educated comment. besides its better than starving.

  • @beast12101 educate on aspartame is all im trying to get out..."its better than starving"? umm... ok there drink mixes.

  • @beast12101 Hes right aspartame is absolutely horrible for you, when it hits your stomach and is heated up by it. It splits into formaldehyde and methanol.

    :D

  • @beast12101 no they pretty well are bad for you and are not necessarily needed for living

but that much aspartame if it does contain aspartame could damage the brain and maybe make you go blind.

Alot of foods these days are filled with Aspartame and harmful chemicals, sugar is another example, if it doesnt say Cane Sugar then its modified and has many harmful effects

  • @fromthe209 Aspartame or Splenda (sucralose). Every one of them have one of those poisons.

  • @fromthe209

well at least now you know how to store possion for emergency :P

the rest of the food shown here is no good either! hahaha

  • Nice vid... This has got me thinking... Were would you suggest that i start...?? i have a family of Three... well and our dog... haha.. Me, Wife, and our 1 yr old Daughter.. ?

  • @brucenunn37 start where your comfortable, buy what you eat. So if your family likes spagetti, next time its on sale buy twice as much as you normally would, then when your down to a certain level of spagetti left, re supply, and maintain that increased level. Save 2 liter soda bottles and fill with tap water, rotate every year. just start small, then work your way up.

  • baking soda vinega and honey important for survival and tang lots of tang

  • I love your videos! My bug out is simple, but then again mines more for short term, but I love your setup!

  • Great video brother. Thanks for taking the time to spread good info that is sure to help us in the dark days ahead. We are all in this together. Stay alert! Stay alive!

  • What sort of containers you gonna use for cookin this stuff?

  • Me and my wife have alot put back but we have been thinking of more that we can do so we printed maps of our area, we are going to scout for the most secluded springs for water just incase the raincatch runs dry. Missouri has alot of springs so im sure we will come across atleast a handfull. Just an idea to share for others to think about.

  • this would be good for zambie apoccolypse aye =0 =P just need guns =0

  • Did you do a segment on hydiene?

  • @rosrychaplet yup, its called Bug Out Gear - hygiene ideas

  • Beast sure knows his stuff!

  • Actually a gallon a day is a minimum, some medications dry you out pretty bad, also folks with blood pressure issues need to stay hydrated. Depending on what you have put away I.E energy bars , you will us ealot of water

  • i keep seeing in these videos people saying that you need a gallon of water a day? you dont need to drink a gallon of water every day unless your in the dessert and you run around all day mabey

  • @piketyl000 well it covers not having running water, half a gallon for drinking and half for hygiene and for washing dishes or just cooking. But if I were hiking I could easily go through a gallon, not to mention high stress, maybe moving debris. Emergencies dont always happen when its nice, it could be during a heat wave, and in the desert you'd want a quart an hour, so that gallon would only get you 4 hrs.

  • @beast12101 ok that makes sense

  • i love tuna and eat it without mayonaise or anything else added in it. its great strait from the can

  • @poodooyou1 they made by Blitz, same maker of most gas cans

  • Man watching your vids I start to realise just how much in our lives we blindly take for complete granted.. Jeez man we have it so easy....

  • Maybe best to stay in your home until the shooting noises stop. If you try to leave as things kick off, you would be robbed of your food or worse.

I honestly think if you tried to help others, you still might get robbed of food by them.

Hope nothing happens to US or elsewhere!

  • very good point about transferring things to plastic bags, unless it will somehow affect the shelf life.

"drink mixes... all sort of crap" lol

  • i love banic

  • @firestar9999 I have been thinking of doing something like that, I may have to..

  • weight loss shakes i would not of thought of.....great idea!

  • question. where do you get those 5 gal water jugs (for cheap)? can you use the plastic red ones typically used for fuel (brand new of course)?

  • @mahoneypony79 it is not recommended that you use the gas cans even if there new, I got my blitz water cans at fredmeyers

  • question. where do you get those 5 gal water jugs (for cheap)? can you use the plastic red ones typically used for fuel (brand new of course)?

  • Very good info. I also break down all useless bulky packaging.

  • Instead of ziplock bags get a cheap foodsaver from Walmart for around $39 bucks. Air and temperature are your worst enemies for long term food storage.

Order your bags from from Cabela's as they have the best in my opinion!

  • are gonna get in to a nuke war with russia ?

  • are you preparing for 2012.?

  • @EnforcedProductions sure and 2010, 2011, 2013. being prepared for whatever, earthquake, unemployment

  • @polarice827 those are some big boys, way to take care of them too.

  • a good thing to get is when you go to a fast food place they have little packets of salt and pepper that are very small so you can have many, you can also pick up the little mustard and ketchup packets for flavor

  • Seriously my BOL has unlimited cover a great view of main traffic routes. Quite a few shelter options. Theres all sorts of food to catch after my supply runs out. Mainly I would have to rely on survivalist means for my plan. Wich is better anyway because you have to think no matter what your supply is going to run out eventually. I know how to trap, fish, purify water, etc.

  • I don't want to give away to much but, I will tell you somewhat of my plan. It is to take my bob and another bag with bags of rice pasta and cans of beans. Probably some soup mix packets to. Fill the water containers I have and move out with all my gear. I have a BOL easily reachable by foot. Then a route through my BOL that allows me to go undetected north or south. No bs.

  • Funny someone hacked my account for whatever reason. So i cant see comments on my profile i have to come to the video.. I do think you got your basis covered. But i think if it gets to the point where you have to survive on that stuff. Theres no way it will be a good idea to stay at your house.

  • fuck that why store all that shit to be looted when you have to bug out? I'm filling a pack and a c-bag to take on the go all at once. Not a tone of shit i cant carry.

  • @67DieHardPatriot4 sure but not everyone has the means to bug out, and i hope you have something stored at your BOL, or what is your plan?

  • Excellent!

I especially like how you comment on having something to hand out to other folks needing help. Spot on.

  • weight loss shake ???? :)) SO FUNNY

  • you are geared. some good fuel cans, siphon. water jugs and a rain catch. and your truck is almost done.

  • First - well done for prepping, you have more than most... but...

ORGANISE YOU STOCK BETTER. I agree to get rid of packaging but collect the bits and pieces into weekly if not daily rations. - on the whole though, well done dude keep it up! :D

  • @skywalkeruk84 I agree, but I use the stock on an everday need, so I wouldnt want to split everything up.

  • I am afraid for ALL these food if NOT being sued until the emergency occur, it would be wasted. Also you would have to keep track of EVERY SINGLE item on expiration dates. I know you are supposed to rotate them and buy what you normally eat. well, I do not eat any can or powder processed food.

  • whats all that stuff for is the end near?

  • its all, stuff you could keep in your cupboard, that takes very little prep, "just add water"

  • @scrantonsux @scrantonsux No the end is not near. Just keep watching the MSM for the latest news on Tiger Woods and American Idol. Everything is ok. In reality, America is bankrupt, our President is looking for any excuse to get us in ANOTHER war and now the FDIC wants to take your pension to help fund the banks which will fail anyway(Bloomberg-FDIC-Pension). All this means is millions of Americans broke and hungry and at the mercy of sadistic psychopath tyrants running our country.

  • @MobaTalk lol ya that is funny...especially true for americans. It seems like i never see people drinking water so weird. Americans would probably have no problem evolving and adapting to a world with no water, we are so used to just drinking sugar. A woman here was trapped in a car upside down without food or water for 8 days.. the 3 day rule is bs.

  • first rule, is the will to live is very strong.

  • I just get Shaklee Cinch meal plan and water. That's it.

  • How are you sorting your stored food? What will expire first?

I try to tag a label or sharpie a date on stuff and rotate first in first out.

  • yup FIFO, and based on what I eat everyday
