  • hey.. i ride on the abulance in Facquier county.. or however you spell it right ..... i am outta rescue co. 14. and i have never heard of reserve engines.. weird.. but .. what do you guys use reserve engines for?? i have an idea .. just wana know for sure..

  • Now, it's just another radio designation (sometimes the back-up unit). As more stations got engines and such, we have "Wagon", "Engine", and "Reserve Engine". Any piece can be reserve. Philomont (Co 8) has a Reserve Tanker, and Leesburg (Co 1) has a Reserve Truck (their Truck is a tiller and the RT is not). It's like in PW Co they have "Engine 501A" and "Engine 501B", same idea. That help?

  • @MPD01605 maybe the employees of the building couldnt silence the alarm

  • I mean the firetrucks in the beginning had the power calls on. I think

  • I like the start when the Q and powercall goes

  • Me too, Q's make me excited :D

  • THERE IN LAREWNCEBERG TN

  • Courtesy Lights?

  • Where is the fire F**K

  • all UK emergency vehicles have blue lights

what time of day was that, dawn or dusk

  • 17:23? Nearly 5:30?

  • In NJ we arnt allowed to respond lights and sirens to a fire alarm activation..... we can only do it if its a confirmed structure fire or any other code 2........

  • Dont emergency vehicles usually have blue lights?

  • Only police cars have blue lights...are you from england or something? Welcome to the great USA!!!

  • No I am from Sweden, all emergency vehicles have blinking rotating or whatever kind of bluelight.

  • Emergency vehicles aren't equipped with blue lights because blue lights are courtesy lights.

  • Wrong. Here in houston, the Firetrucks, ambulances, and cops have red and blue.

  • I garentee your wrong because it is a law that firetrucks and ambulances or any other vehicale does not ahve blue lights other then a cop

  • Hate to burst your bubble, but your wrong. Here in Cypress, Tx, the FD uses blue, red, amber, and clear. The sheriffs dept (before they bought all their new whelen lightbars) used red, blue, and amber combinations.

  • NO only cops has them. Fire trucks and abulanses has to have red and white lights. I do not know why but only cops can have it.

  • um, every state has different laws about the lights, sirens, where you can pass, etc. maybe in your state only cops can have blue lights but in texas, colorado and some other states all 3 services can.

  • well hell they should alow all emergency vehicals should be able to use the blue lights. But I am no complaneing because the lights and the sirens and the horns are good enough for us

  • it goes state by state on the light combo's

  • Yes, it goes state-by-state. As I recall, blue is a courtesy color in several states in the Northeast, where all emergency vehicles use red, clear, and amber, including the police. Here in the Southeast, blue is only used for law enforcement, which can also mix in other colors. Fire and EMS are restricted to red, clear, and amber.

  • NH, MA, VT, and I believe CT allow any (approved) fire/ EMS personnel to run red, white, amber lights, etc. Including sirens. From the entry level probie, to the chief, it doesn't matter, and it makes you technically an emergency vehicle. State and Local Police agencies, aside from Public Safety departments(R/B), and forestry (R/B) run strictly blue lights

  • that is good driving practice.

I think i'm going to have to start carrying a video camera when i'm working in the field.

  • Great idea putting subtitles!!not all youtubers speak english anyday..:-)

  • The driver runs on a stoplight!

  • Moron!

  • uh, yeah that's why ambulances have lights and sirens so that they can run through stoplights and stopsigns at an appropriate speed to get to the emergency.

  • Yes I know that. Thankyou for your consideration and time to answer my comment. Well the only thing I said that is because I just want to comment. I know that the siren is for emergency status and code red emergency.

  • I like the view and the noise inside the vehicle!!!!

  • That was great thanks, subtitles too, sweet!!

  • So, you drive an ambulance?

  • Well done!

  • Which F.D ?

  • Ashburn VFRD in Loudoun County, Virginia

  • But what is VFRD what is R

  • probably rescue

  • your videos rock!

  • Cool

Seems to be cool in an ambulance

  • yeah, but obiously not so cool to be in the BACK of one lol

  • Coolio..

    Dude

  • very nice video. did you have your camera mounted?

  • Yeah, I use some two-sided foam tape stuff and stick it on the dash. It works well, except the best place is right where the front windshield meets the dash, so sometimes it vibrates against the window and causes that buzzing sound.

  • @MPD01605 are you a volunteer or a career staff?

  • very very cool video, keep postin 'em!
