I love the way that his ears flap when he's doin his running walk!!! I've got a 6 year old Spotted Saddle Horse Gelding but he doesn't have a big headshake. I wish he did but at the beginning i'm glad he didn't because he holds his head so high up in the air at first that he would have hit me in the face! Since then we have worked on his headset and he is gorgous!!!
Great little mule thanks for the video. Hogguide I agree with you nobody ever mentions about race horses, rodeo horses, hunters and jumpersand several other breeds. And Badger it seemed nobody really got their ''hackles'' up but you if you dont like walking horses or how they are being shown fine but you dont hear us walking horse people running down other breeds do you?
@jbash1970 hunter's are shown without harmful chains, pads, or oil soaked into their legs, jumping a six foot fence may not be natural, but Jumping IS in fact natural to horses!! making a horse walk on incredably sore feet with padded shoes is not. IDK how you people can sit there and defend the use of such torture devises, maybe someday someone will make you run in platform shoes in tight chains, after having your bare skin soaked in oil for a couple hours.
@cammarkgross If it's so bad why do you bleeding hearts even watch, just watch the "jumpers"or whatever else you people like and leave us alone the walking horse industry is turning out more athletic and cleaner horses now more than ever so as I JUST SAID QUIT WATCHING US AND WATCH YOUR OWN HORSES!
@cammarkgross Like I said in my earlier post to you we are turning out more athletic and cleaner horses than before.Have you ever seen a performance walking horse up close? If you have not you need to because they are really taken good care of and you ought to try to ride one you just might like it. I think it would be better than loping a few strides then jumping over a rail. That to me looks pretty hard on a horses cannon bones and shoulders and there have been several riders injured or worse.
Real deal gaited walking mule! Show her off in the Show Me State at the 2010 Missouri State Fair AGMA Gaited Mule Show in Sedalia, MO, August 15, 2010. Come show us a real gaited walking mule!
Funny how horses jumping 6' fences looks NORMAL to you, but the agony of blown out knees and compacted coffin bones and jammed shoulders is never mentioned by your kind.
I stated a personal opinion that this naturally-moving gaited mule looks better than any of the padded horses. And, IMO, the padded horses DO look crippled.
Why do padded horse supporters get their hackles up any time someone doesn't like how it looks?
