@TheStormchaser1 Samuel L Jackson wanted a purple lightsaber, thats why mace had one lol, if you read the books and pay attention it becomes clear that yoda is in charge, Mace is extremely up his own, hes awesome but hes also cocky, yoda is wise and more powerful, and George Lucas said long ago that Yoday was in charge, back when episode 1 came out of the prequals

@19Wylds95 But, if you truly look at the Council all Masters are equals. But, Samuel had a lot of say in the Council. It was Mace which allowed Anakin not Yoda which granted him on Council. Mace was a lot more vocal than Yoda. And, only way to know who was in charge would be Grandmaster and there is no Grandmaster Jedi.

@TheStormchaser1 actually yoda is a grandmaster jedi, its just never said in the movies, when anakin was allowed on the council it had already been discussed before anakin arrived at the council, yoda had the final decision and then mace told anakin the decision, Mace windu was alot more vocal on screen, i agree, but most of the time yoda made the decisions, he is also the most powerful and i should have mentioned this befoore but mace was one of yodas apprentices

@19Wylds95 This is a good discussion. Since in Clone Wars by Dark Horse, Mace never trained under Yoda. Yoda was more like the wisdom of the Jedi Council while Mace was the one who got things done. So in essence Yoda and Mace were the main heads of the Jedi Council.

If Mace did not die and another Jedi Master went to confront Darth Sidius. Mace would have went after Darth Sidius and Yoda would have went after Anakin.

@TheStormchaser1 yh it is a good discussion, im not sure what you mean when you're referring to the clone wars but i know for a fact that mace is yodas apprentice, or one of them. I agree that yoda was wisdom whereas Mace was the physical aspect but i would still definately think that Mace would go after Anakin because Yodas more powerful so he could match sidious.  I think Yodas more powerful but Mace is more skilled with weapons.

@19Wylds95 T'ra Saa was the one that trained Mace. Clone Wars is a Dark Horse Graphic Novel. Everyone in the Academy was trained by Yoda from Youngling to Padawan. Or it would be Yoda and Mace against Sidius.  Since Obi-Wan could easily defeat Anakin again.

@TheStormchaser1 yes i know mace was trained by T'ra Saa but he was also trained by yoda at many points of his life, yoda taught him alot of patience, ive read clone wars so dont worry i know what you're talking about. Im not sure if obi wan easily defeated anakin, i think if anakin hadnt been so cocky he would have won. The point im trying to make is that Yoda is the head of the council, hes been there the longest and he the wisest and most powereful, i agree though that Mace has alot of sway

The only way how you could tell Yoda may be a the head was his Hitler like stance in the Trooper Lander when they went into the Battle. But, who was leading the charge? Mace

So we can easily say Mace and Yoda were definately the two heads of the Council.
