  • fucking gay

  • the beginning is the best...teaches you everything you need to know ...its funny at least, especially from a legend like eddy.

    gotta try it some day

    thanks.

  • After so many years of teleskiing I just can't put my inside foot forward in a turn. I have spent days duplicating the exercises in this video. Gerrr.

But a great resource regardless. Thanks.

  • Thanks for sharing. Fine skating ability!

  • Pooooor wheels..... im looking for tips on controlling speed for skates. I doubt this'd work.

  • This is great. Are these clips from a DVD I can purchase?

  • @Bonecrusher27WTF wondering the same here.

  • te esta mostrando la base para hacer tres diferentes movimientos desde el parabel asi como frenado de velocidad o cuña y finalmente la reduccion de velocidad en una perpendicular

  • I could never stop in Inlines! At skating, I'd just run into the wall then exit gracefully xD

Does the T-stop still work nice on hardwood floors?

  • Damn, if I had watched this before, maybe, just maybe, I haven't fell in high speed =P

  • I love the look of his blades (2:27). They have a strong frame, easy zip-up - but the writing on them is just a bearings advert: what do I look up to find the rollerblades? (I live in the UK)

  • hawaii??

  • good to see that there are people still out there that encourage the destruction of your wheels in the quickest way possible. As well as absolutely destroying your bearings at the same time.

  • wow this is just too stupid and too complicated :s

  • 1:52 wtf?

  • /watch?v=YT9MyyMbBL8

    plz watch this.

  • Классные ролы

  • I think I'll aply the first two, the one of rolling and the one of the parachute XD Pretty nice explanation, I gotta try that frontal slide or however you want to call it!

  • Lol, no one stopped in the "how to stop" tutorial. ...The lesson is: don't actually need to stop, or die. x_x

  • how about just attach a brake to the back of your frame

  • Just wish that twat wouldvt hit some gravel

  • speed skating is gay. go stunt skating with chris haffey and brian aragon:

  • inline skating + knowledge of physics = safety win

  • You guys want to know what then toughest part of Roller Blading is?

Its telling your friends and family that you are a screaming homosexual...a real power bottom.

  • so your the dick drawing on my path....

  • @nuttnynutjob lol!!

  • This guy is cool I think - how skates are he using? and will this work on not so sexy asfalt with maybe 82-84a hardness in the wheels? Thanks for posting :)

  • @usbsol Eddy uses wheels 83A according to an interview that is also available here in youtube.

  • his skates are gay

  • "gripage" :D

  • amazing that it's possible doing this using skeelers instead of skates. beeing suprised he is able to make slides and parallel sharp turns. I always thought that 5 wheels stands in the way to turn like this. now i know i can choose for skeelers instead of skates with 100mm wheels if it is cheaper.

  • What a waste of a good hill, you could really get cruisin on that thing.

  • I thught it was a joke in the begining. I mean this video was just werd????

  • that looks gay

  • thats a really safe way to go downhill but if you have ballz just go down that hill and feel that speed

  • I think this tutorial is aimed toward teaching people how to stop -out-of-necessity-

But in your case I completely support your wish to fly down a hill into cross traffic stopping yourself with your ballz.

  • hes gonna need some new wheels

  • Enjoy your need for new wheels every other day.

  • just wanna ask, im new to skating.. i just wanna know which is the best way to stop when going down a hill? brakes or other way?

  • thanks i now won't have to ram into a fence or something like that to stop myself infromnt of a car and i have read a lot of comments here and i have the type that have 4 wheels what does it mean by they are agressive does it mean they are fast or what????

  • Agressive are those made for doing tricks and stuff. They have wider wheels and are a bit slower. And they have a space between wheels for grinding down the rails.

  • good video captures of your wheels ;)

  • I'm finding this a little difficult to follow, but it seems similar techniques to skiing

  • It's a shame I can't find any other technique videos with this much detail because this guy is REALLY annoying.

  • eddy your have the skill! :D i train on a verducci v-tek pro e with a 5x90 powerslide mag 9 marathon :) regards from germany

  • мда... ему хорошо говорить.

  • 1:50 - beautiful

  • thats a beautiful sight, yes man sure is a beautiful sight

  • u have silicone wheels?

  • wow he is cool

  • cool blade

  • whats the point in that if ur gonna bail just bail dont worry bout hittin the floor

  • What kind of boots and frames are these? Please give make and model and year if you have it?

By the way, you can get agressive on 5 wheel skates.

  • ish-shonz.

  • 5 wheels?.. i use 4 wheels... ARGH! I WANNA AGGRESSIVE BLADES!!

  • mate, 4 wheels is aggressive lol, 2 wheels is more aggressive though

  • it's not really four wheels. in agressive skates you have a front and a back wheel.

the two last is just plastic wheels, which isn't for skating really, and they don't roll very good either. it's for protecting the templates from being destroyed when u roll over the sidewalks and doing jumps :)

  • mate i have 4 wheels, it is definatly NOT agressive... you can't grind with them and stuff like that

  • umm 4 wheels are for aggressive inline 5 wheels are for speed skating.. 4 wheels with aggressive have a grind plate in the middle sperating the wheels into groups of 2... and you can grind with those.. if you dont have a grind plate then you cant grind.

  • i have 4 weeled skates, no grind plate in the middle or at the edges, maybe because i live in belgium, in belgium, we call agrresive when we only have 2 weels: with grind plate in the middle and soul plates ^^

  • Aggressive skates have far smaller wheels, and have UP TO 4 wheels per skate, some modern designs use 2 per skate with large frame gap for grinding eg Mooks where as a more slalom or Speed skate would have a large wheel, usually 4 or 5 per skate and are evenly spaced, check out Rollerwarehouse or Routeone for different skate designs

  • Some aggresive have 2, or 4 with anti rockers in the middle, and you do not need an h block to grind.

  • great lesson thanks

  • And this way of stopping must be hell on your weels!

  • Nice vid. I'm still keeping my heel break for a while though! Btw, use protectors! Safety first. Then, if you go down, at least you still have skin on your knees and arms (and you don't break your wrists) I'm talking from painful experience!

  • what the fuck

  • jajaja looks like u were having fun. XD

    thnx 4 the upload

  • wtf. much fun with destroying ur fibres by braking like that lol. totally exaggerated moving . with the carves he does u can usually go down from 30 km/h to a full stop though

  • my wheels are really sticky, which kind of wheels are u using there? i own a pair of k2's

    thanks

  • tyvm.....been trying to break down hill and it has always been a prob. will try it out ^^

  • Cool Thanks!!!

  • 5 wheel rollers !!!!

ql dude i hawe 5 wheels two but not so big than you hawe !!!

  • funny first part

  • I love the ten wheels and the cool maneuvers.

  • lmao.

i thuoght this was a scetch till i read the comments.

  • wow, how do you even use those? theres like, no ankle support.

  • Strong ankles... you have to develop them just like any other muscle ^_^

  • usual informations:)

  • That was cool! Awesome skills. I'll have to try that. Thanks.

  • good.

  • the parachute at .12 omfg i laughed so hard

  • The part where u go down the slope, is that what you call slalom?

  • what kind of skates are those? 'cause I use inline hockey skates, but these that you use have huge wheels.

  • speed skates: they have bigger, thinner wheels and a smaller, lighter boot. ussually they have 5 wheels

  • no not usually any more. a setup with four 100 mm wheels are more common amongst speedskaters today, instead of five 80 mm wheels before..

  • try going down hill...then turn to backskate...really scary...

  • Very nice...love that downhill technique!

  • I don't this it's a good idea to slaide the wheels on the floor like that i mean that damage wheels really bad!

I think it's the worst thing to do..unless you can afford new wheels every day.

Seriously what do you think ppl?

  • That's a fair comment and wheel wear out is something I consider when stopping. My favorite method shown in this video is curving the parallel turns down the hill quickly while changing scissor. Still burns the wheels out but less then dragging a foot on the side. Controlling speed on hills is one of the trickiest things to do.

  • hehe you guys are funny too :-)

    Nice muscles <3

  • Wow this really helped me alot, since whenever I try to stop I just end up spinning out of control!!

  • o and for any1 thinking of tring 2 learn 2 skate this video is what not 2 do u dont slide ur wheels like that at the end will cause major flate spots idiot

  • it wont.. coz he keeps the wheels spinning...

the question is how to make this in a dry rough asphalt with a grip 82A wheels

  • that or do a 90 but unless ur careful ul fall

  • this has to be a piss take theres no way hes serious. is he?

  • at the very beginning that's how I stop!! =DDD!!!

  • Very useful! I was trying to learn how to go downhill: now I'll see if it works for me.

  • great stopping was looking how to stop wit out the heel stop thx again:) going inline skating now heheh:)

  • wow your dirt

  • is there a full DVD or something to this? im sure there is more to it.. kindly let me know thanks

  • DVD was in bearings box

This is 6-ball Twincam ILQ-9 bearings

    (DVD inside)

  • Hi, nice vide. What kind of wheels are this? I have both inline skates 2 days ago, but my wheels look a lil bit bigger and softer. I would destroy my wheels very fast with that kind of braking... :'(

  • nice!
