The Special Air Service is British but NATO countries do exchange personnel for training purposes. Canada hosts Maple Flag every spring. Canadian Forces Base Cold Lake has one of the biggest bombing ranges in the world. I enjoyed being posted to CL because MF was a good opportunity to see what the US had for cool toys. Canada doesn't have much of a military budget, but we do well with what we have.

The Special Air Service is British but NATO countries do exchange personnel for training purposes. Canada hosts Maple Flag every spring. Canadian Forces Base Cold Lake has one of the biggest bombing ranges in the world. I enjoyed being posted to CL because MF was a good opportunity to see what the US had for cool toys. Canada doesn't have much of a military budget, but we do well with what we have.

As a matter of necessity, we are cross trained in many areas and trades because we don't have the personnel that the US military has.

Canada went to fight because its friend Britain was being attacked. The same thing happened when the US was attacked. Canada went to fight in Afghanistan where the insurgents were that attacked the US. They didn’t get involved in Iraq because they didn’t attack the US. Canada will never invade a country but by hell attack Canada or our friends and one will see just how tough Canadians really are.
