Gday mate... I'm a railfan from Australia... please correct me if I'm wrong, but in Boston, the Red Line is the full third rail metro service and the Green Line is a tram / light rail service...?

@2012alexg Righto no worries... being a railfan, I like to study transit systems from all over the world... as I understand it, the Boston Blue Line has overhead wires like a mainline commuter operation, but is still part of the MBTA "metro" system ?

@MrKRH74 Yes, it is a subway line too actually. It uses both third rail and catenary (overhead).
