Every genre can be boring without good arrangement, on this track Richie did everythig perfect, i can listen whole 11 minutes without getting bored. Not all minimal tracks are that interesting. Some are just beep and beat by 8 minutes.

I love Techno too. Techno is a great genre of the electronic music, but Trance dominates over all other electronic genres. Though Trance was created of Techno, House, Ambient, Industrial music and electronic art music, he may not be a thoroughbred genres, but it's rich in variety, because Trance takes elements from the indicated genres above.

I love techno and I know what do you mean, the bass can get boring and repetitive, but then the electronic synth makes up for it with imaginative sounds that you don't know how to describe and different waves of energy like some kind of light speed trip through some kind of time line vortex....uhhh..now I'm tripping...:)

I moved to Detroit in 1993 in 9th grade and this track was what started my Hawtin obsession that lasted for almost a decade. I thought all techno was gimmicks and 'talentless' but at my friend's insistence, I stuck this Recycled Plastik into my 2 pound portable cd player and took my dog for a walk. I was a new man when I came back 2 hours later having listened to this song like 5 times.
