  • We've all ben there

  • like a boss...

  • 2:27 Owwwww!!

  • Oh wauw Negreanu should play against all the youtube users here. He would lose so much money because they are all better than him appearently

  • my question is, why the hell would he call if he knows from the first second that he's beat. And my second question is, how hard is it to figure out that a possible hand that would beat him here is pocket eights.

  • @butterf1yz Try to guess cards not on Youtube but when you don't actually see them and already've played for hours.

  • Is Bill Maher at that table???

  • what season is this?

  • he looks like Edward Norton and even his voice

  • negreanu was good in american history x

  • Sounds like the table is saying "ow" after he slams the table lol

  • Angry?

  • It's really amazing how unlucky Daniel Negreanu was on High Stakes Poker. Unluckiest player ever

  • Tony Soprano sneaking up behind Daniel to waste him 2:43

  • Erick always looks like he has a deuce just turtling away the whole time

  • thats poker daniel, and you should know it! I think sometimes they forget that its still gambling!

  • ... I know you've got to see me,

    Read 'em and weep...

    ace of spades - motorhead

  • That wasn't a bad call at all!

He had him big in chips. Was expecting a bluff from him. Didn't think he had A 8. Even Daniel wouldn't read him with Quads.

    The announcers like hairy sac!

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC that was a bad call, driven by his emotions..he strongly felt that he was going to lose but he still goes on and calls..if he had a feeling that that was a bluff he propably be a lot calmer..he is paying to see the other guys cards..he is obvius on tilt..if that was an amateur it would be reasonable to call.after the" all in: he outbursts.he knew he was going to lose ,he said it himself.the winner just capitalizes on his emotion state.

  • It's ok daniel this happens to me on pokerstars all the time AJ vs A3 2JK...4 and i yelled out 5 because i knew it was comming 5 i said and a 5 came btw iv'e won 4 freeroll tickets on pokerstars im just saying either i have the worst luck in the world or something is going on here..

  • that was just phil helmuth in disguise.

  • I've not seen anyone remain as calm as Daniel when he loses a big hand. That's a talent in itself, I can honestly say I wish I could do that.

  • What a great player Gabe is, when he is commentating and he can see all of the cards..... What a joker he is.

  • @bevbo42

well he just states his opinion. best commentator we ever had in any poker show. he never claimed to be a great player

  • 2:27 to what daniel lose his shit

  • Shut the fuck up all of you poker pro wanna be's you all obviously suck if you were good you wouldnt be at a table in vegas right now not commenting on this video. Fucking losers

  • @snipeyoass420 Well said. Daniel is very very good at poker. Half the cunts on youtube would lose in like an hour haha, not 5 days.

  • @carlsoto1747 so poker is 110% different bullshit is it you dumb cunt dont pretend you can play?

  • I love how people pretend there is so much skill in poker... and then in the end it comes down to lucky hands like this. Then they pretend like its so obvious what the right move was, because they have such beautiful 20/20 hindsight. What a bunch of turds.

  • @elephantman2222 You are so right - hindsight is a wonderful thing. As is seeing all of the cards!

  • Poker is a game of chance, luck and timeing. The only thing you control is when to take the chance, the other two luck and timeing can make or brake a pro, and you have no control over those two and they are the ones that matter. If you alteady gabled and won milions, play only small ball, otherwise you may run out of luck, and never come back. And thats a fact of life!

  • @johnybrawos Poker is about playing others hands. It's about reading others, betting strategically, and either making your monster hand look weak, or your weak hand look like a monster. Yes, there is luck involved, but you'll notice that a lot of pots are won with weak hands and big bluffs. Poker is 50% reading, 30% skill, 15% betting skills and 15% luck.

  • @carlsoto1747 In the long run tho it's 100% skill... Luck factor just becomes variance. And what do you meen with 30% skill, 50% handreading? Handreading isn't a skill?

  • Thats poker folks, even pros can lose big and go broke, look at Artchies run, from 10000 to 40000000$ and back to zero in 2.5 years.

  • @johnybrawos well then he isnt a pro. A pro is someone who can aways make more money out of his money. If Daniel would go broke he would just have to take 1000$ go to a local casino and make 10000 out of it.

  • my question is how much did he tip the dealer there?

  • @longjohnw86 looks like he tipped him 15 bucks.

  • @deggy33 wow thats pretty lame...they prolly dont get tipped every hand either! how do U stack some one off in such a big game then give the DEALER 15$ what a shame

  • @longjohnw86 15bucks

  • crocodile dundee

  • I would love to see Hellmuth have Daniels hand! He would implode...!

  • i dont see how he didnt consider the quads, dont see how he called he could of had sucker straight , the boat beats him and quds beat him.

  • It's funny how they hide the camera in the furniture

  • nothing is less scarey than and angry Canadian

  • "I know when daniel has a straight, I have a read on him.... He has a straight when the board pairs"

  • 2:26

  • So stupid. You should think about the absolute possible strongest hand.. IDIOT I SHOULD FOLD!! FULL HOUSE POSSIBILITY TO..

NO ALL-IN WITH A FUCKING LOSING STRAIGHT.

  • Theres no "rule" to use when you are that on tilt .. you flop the nuts 5 times and get outdrawn EVERY time, logic goes out the window. Dans human like everyone else.

  • suprising he didn't put him on a full house with a paired board straight away he's normally a good reader... however seems he was running on tilt

  • you call that angry , he is the most friendly pokerstar i know

  • @Jimpeeterske hes a fucking douche

  • Comment removed

  • So painful to watch.

  • poor daniel

  • this vid is bloody priceless xD

  • @margenov Not wearing your glasses? Cus i can see him fine

  • to be honest (and i never say things like this) but this time, it was an easy fold. this isn't durr or gus on the river, it's eric lindgren. the man isn't a super aggressive player and there were basically no hands that daniel could beat. jacks, queens, aces, a-8, k-10, and of course 8s all beat him. this is a hand you want to call so badly but you need to save face and just fold.

  • @ajbbig14 I remember saving face in vegas once and was correct. but the person i saved face against wouldn't have it. when i left the casino he literally bashed my face in with the money he won from me. multiple wounds to the head and a hospital visit later i learned one thing: never try to save face and risk it. till this day i am very grateful for that incident because its made me a better person.

  • @BadAssBlackOverlord a dude hunted you down after and beat the shit out of you because you folded to him? damn, remind me never to go to vegas without some muscle with me

  • There are a lot of fishes in the comments lol

  • I wouldn't have called against lindgren but idk how it felt to lose to quads against Hansen so maybe that was a major difference there.

  • I'm quite new to poker, can somebody please explain to me what ''flop the nuts'' mean?

I enjoy watching these high stakes videos and learn from them, but I can't pick up every saying .. :/

  • @SkaterQuickflip Hello there. To "flop the nuts" is to make the best possible hand with your pocket and the community cards. The Nuts is the best possible hand available, For instance, on the turn, Danial no longer had the nuts, Erik did. it is impossible to beat your hand. So..... when Danial said he "flopped the nuts" his hand was the best possible hand at that time. A little long winded there, but I hoped that helped..?

  • @Toptic67 wow, didn't think I'd get a response this fast.. yes it made it clear for me, thank you very much!!

  • The commentator is dum and gay. Daniel won't look back to this hand and think it was a bad call because you wouldn't be able to put him on quads. A8 is more realistic.

  • @adamtang88 did you seriously just call Gape Kaplan dumb, firstly, you spelt it incorrectly. Secondly, Gape never said he could put him on quads you moron, he said that he shouldn't call simply because aside from a bluff, Lindgren isn't raising with anything but K10, for the nut straight, or a full house. A8 isn't realistic based on the preflop action either. I think maybe its time for you sir, to fuck off.

  • @matthewhorth matt the spaz. you know everything dont you.... lol.

chill out kid.. gape kaplan must be your dad for u to get like that lol

    chilllllll. lol wanker

  • Hmm, I think Lindgren could also have played like hits with one 8, not? The straight of Daniel was also hard to read. The best read Daniel had was A 8, which should have lead him to a fold. But again, Lindgren could easily "only" have a set ...

  • We meet again... 240p...

  • He didn't get out of line, u guys forget that he's human

  • @777prodigal people say human as if being human is a get out of jail card.

  • As soon as Lindgren moved all-in, Daniel knew he was beat.

"How can i flop the nuts every hand and lose!"

In a heartbeat, he knew it. It's just sick that he paid it off knowing.

  • Who's the dude next to daniel with the black face?

    JK

  • now daniel knows how phill hellmuth feels LOL

  • Only 2000:1 ? I would have thought it was much greater... Well 2000:1 is still pretty high.

  • @A801506 I thought it was way higher too!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2:27 - bit of a Helmuth moment there, Daniel.

  • 240p we meet again

  • 2:27 over and over and over again

  • Which pixel is daniel ?

  • @margenov OMG STFU

  • @margenov what a sad pathetic moron u r get your own material

  • @margenov He'd probably tell you like, "suck my dixel", lol

  • @margenov i dont get it

  • @margenov I've seen worse videos, this is decent, atleast I ican see the cards and the numbers

  • @margenov come on dude.. if ur gonna steal a comment atleast use it in a proper situation. this quality isnt good but its not horrible. theres more to life than getting the top comment

  • ☠☠

  • Daniel broke the golden rule, if you don't know where you are, you're usually behind. If he couldnt put him on a hand whatsoever, he probably should have folded. Not saying that I'd have been able to lay that down necessarily though, but I'm not as good as Daniel. :P

  • @freddii89 i agree

  • @freddii89 stupid rule, i would've called instantly, as i should have. 4 of a kind is extremely unlikely, and i would never fold if that was the only thing that could beat my hand.

  • @lmaso99xx ...which wasn't the case here, since any full house also wins. You would instantly call an all-in bet with the (non-nut) straight on a paired board?

  • @lmaso99xx no 10K,8J,8Q,8A,QQ,AA,JJ as well as 88

  • @freddii89 good players dont use the "oh i have no idea where im at so im beat" rule. sounds more like a donk rule to me

  • @itssimpleiwinyoulose Its hardly a donk rule, its one of the fundamentals of poker, putting your opponent on a range/hand, if you can't do that, you'll lose often. Daniel raised preflop, bet the flop, bet the turn, bet the river, and then lindgren goes all in after calling all the way. Negreanu has absolutely no information from Lindgren as he's betting out of position, and the board is paired. Nobody is going to bluff all in at you when you bet all 4 streets beforehand.

  • @freddii89 try telling that to daniel "pseudo pro" negreanu ahah

  • @itssimpleiwinyoulose I wouldn't call the guy who has been called the best reader in all of poker a "pseudo pro".

  • @gangster301 been called by fanboys and bad poker commentators. You dont hear Phil Ivey say negreanu is one of the best readers in the world Imao

  • @itssimpleiwinyoulose I've heard it from multiple top pro players, think Mike Matusow said it once, and multiple top commentators. Sorry but people who know a LOT more than you about poker think Negreanu is one of the best, if not THE best, reader in the current scene.

  • @freddii89

    Except, maybe, Tom Dwan

  • @caposton Haha, yea, except him. But if I flopped a straight against durr I'd probably insta-fold to save myself the trauma of his bluffing techniques.

  • @freddii89 really? thanks tips

  • Negreanu got brutalized on HSP after season 1

  • 5:35 ... " ... pocket 8s?"

  • flop the nuts

  • My favorite Video.

  • Was Daniel counting on a bluff or what?

  • Ah, he had a straight.

  • whats there to think about? do you really think your opponent has something better than a quads?

  • wtf he knows hes beat but he calls :/

  • @danielvandam you mean youve never done that before?

  • @dieselboy87 good point haha, i guess its just weird if youre watching someone else do it

  • So unlucky! Just like me XD, At least your a multi millionare!

  • Don't call Dan, Don't call !!!!!

    Oh damn you called.

sorry but I tried to tell you.

  • This is the time when you can't believe your stone-cold nuts (on the flop) are beat and you become a showdown junkie, making decisions that cost you so much...he would never have called an all-in reraise on a paired board otherwise!

  • whos the one eyed alien player next daniel ?

  • Dn can only beat a bluff

  • Terrible call.

  • @meltdownup easy to say that when u can see the other guys cards

  • @TheOrionStar No, it's easy to say that when you realize he only had $40k in that pot before he called the all in.

  • I thought this things only happens in online poker

  • haha bitchy faggg haha hes deserves it

  • ITS good to have friends!

  • what i dont understand is... he seemed to call just because he wanted to see his hand.. and i would also call just to see his hand.. but im not getting filmed to be broadcasted on tv and then having it go onto youtube.. why didnt he just realise that he would get to see lindgren's hand when he sees it back on tv.

  • HAHAHA look at him pout at 2:28. how can you get mad over cards? ur gambling idiot! i swear... hahaha soo funny!

  • @steveparok00

why dont you put up some of your own money, and keep losing even though you did nothing wrong and see how calm you are.

  • @silentsniper125 why would i? im not a dumbass like you idiots. right dumbass?

  • @steveparok00

wtf? your talking about a situation whuch you clearly dont know a lot about. your saying "how can you get mad over cards?" the answer is very easily just like you can get mad at anything.

  • @silentsniper125 LOOK AT HIM at 2:27. that is unacceptable. LOL seriously, with that kind of pouting you only deserve to get your ass kicked!

  • why do people always speak about situations when they were on the bad side of bad-beat ? how many times u call with a small pair and hit the monster on the turn / river ....

  • And Daniel is a pro?

  • ouch !!

  • This was a tough beat for sure, but that's poker. It happens. It's happened to me, it happens to everyone sometimes.

  • It just shows you even the so called 'pros' have no clue sometimes, poker is just a guessing game only the luckiest players win millions.

  • @kavana85 Yeah, but you can't be "lucky" at that guessing game all the time right? That's where the skill comes in.

  • Not so funny when it happens to you is it, faggot poker?

  • the all in on the river was pretty clear. I mean eric would do that with something better then 10-9.(just saying he wouldn't go all in on a bluff or 2 pairs)

  • thats a bad day

  • Thats why flopping the nuts can backfire and you're caught either between raising and forcing your opponent to fold before the turn and river and running with the money or call to increase profit and hope they dont hit, or limping and drawing their chips out by bluffing that u have a weak or "waiting for a draw/runner" hand. I love poker, so simple with many options and outcomes. :)

  • You can't knock daniel for that call because it did look like quads or a bluff. It's 50/50 in my book, he could have had a missed straight just as easily.

  • he want to cry

  • 4:10 - 4:20 one of the best Gabe comments

  • know what would be nice? trimming the video, I'm not even gonna waste my time finding the part where he gets mad.

  • @godiamone 2:27 ish

  • I think negreanu is taking it easy, i would have blown that motherfuckers head

  • @dabe95 no you wouldn't have

  • @cdubmeyer yeah ofc :D but i would have been pissed

  • haha love this. fuck negreanu, he's a stain

  • He can't beat anything on the river, Got flat called twice; easily put him on flopping two pair to a full house. No reason to bet the river, Eric would've put in a value bet and he'd would have lost the minimum if he chose to call. Negreanu hates to fold!

  • @emanmark I see your point but Gabe's right, when you are running bad, everyone tries to bluff you because they feel you know you are beat.

  • @myersjonathon88 Negreanu is a calling station! And you don't bluff a loose tilted player like him, you bluff tight players. Check out the other hands with Mimi Tran and Elezra (same thing; he flopped a str8 and got rvr by boat). He doesn't fold. Gabe is almost sympathetic in his commentary. I do think he did get unlucky more than other players over the course of these games. Especially the Gus Hanson one, that was brutal.!

  • I'd hate to be his roommate and piss him off. He would probably slam a bunch of doors and play his music really loud for like 10 songs.

  • I love how everyone is a professional poker player...

  • A check on the river with respect to the K-10 draw would have minimized the damage and possibly saved him 65-72K. Lindgrem wouldve bet 25-35 on the river and Daniel could've paid him off.

  • why cant he have K,10?

He played it like a draw

I dont think he could have Ace 8 here because he wouldve raised on the Turn when he hit his Trips

  • @Cdub2k most likely because the board had paired, he wouldn't call considerable bet on the turn with a str8 draw once there might already be a full house or worse in there

  • let this be a lesson to all of the losing online players( u know who u are) that claim its rigged this a great example that these spots come up just as much live as they do online and if u leave the house once and awhile to play in a casino u can find out.

  • @PLOpro1 I wont claim to have played millions of online hands, but I feel I have played enough. I studied mathematics as my minor for 4 years at university, and feel I grasp the idea of odds, especially regarding poker, and cards in general (my family loves cards, been playing since i could sit on their laps and pick cards out). I feel online there are too many good/similar hands that come up, forcing people to bet, believing their hands are strong.I thnk online is rigged, i quit, i was up too

  • how could you not at least put him on the full house there?

  • @wanga653 It's not the first time in this session someone out drew him. He had Full House vs Quads, Set vs Set and other similar hands. So losing those pots put him on tilt and wasn't able to think rationally - if you feel like you're going to tilt stop playing and calm down. Normally he would fold, from what I've seen of him on other shows. On tilt, it is understandable that he might tell himself that someone might bluff him, especially since everyone knew he kept getting bad beat over and over

  • so unlucky

  • sick hand, but lets be honest, at this level, you know it`s a fullhouse at least

  • when you are mad and angry of cource you make bad calls. if it happened for the 1st time that night am sure daniel was gona fold the str8

  • WOW! those online poker sites have really live-like graphics these days :P

  • Thumbs up for: "You know how you can tell when Daniel's got a straight? I've got a read on him...The board's pairing"... ironic...
