@TomPettyATHeartbrak hey thanks for posting.. interesting interviews right through.. caught them at madison square garden in late 85 i believe.. wall to wall bustin' at the seams.. unforgettable show.
Too bad they never made a full record together... some songs here and there, but they could have really rocked together on record. Ah well, it was Bob Dylan's low point in terms of song quality, so it probably wouldn't have been that good. Nowadays, Dylan's got his songwriting mojo back... it isn't too late to make a record with the Heartbreakers!
They did make a couple albums together. They were called The Traveling Wilburys. Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Roy Orbison & Jeff Lynn. Awesome stuff!!!!
That's true, and it was indeed good stuff. But, what I was really thinking of what Bob Dylan backed by the Heartbreakers (including TP). It was a great combination live, and there are a few songs from Dylan's mid 80's records that featured some or all of the Heartbreakers, but I really wish they had done an album together.
Two great singers singing one of the greatest rock songs ever and one of my all time favorites. Its like milk and cookies, two great things apart but even better together.
Howard at his best! Playing with Tom & The Heartbreakers and Bob Dylan!

I'm sorry, but I couldn't understand what Dylan was saying in this.

@modernway91 Don't worry about it. Understanding Bob Dylan is something reserved only for true fans.
