first of all! 1) YOU NEED DATA PLAN SERVICE FOR APP WORLD TO BE WORKING. data plan service means you need to register then pay a month or something.

2)If you dont have data plan, you can use WI-FI internet connection ( can be found at hotels or restaurants) to get app world working.

3)If you have wifi, and its still not working, that means App World is NOT AVAILABLE in your country. i know like wtf? if ur wifi thingy is using the america connection, then you should be able to get app world

@rigger243 Phone your network provide for example O2 or AT&T (for USA) and tell them you want a Blackberry bolt-on. you'll get Blackberry maps, Blackberrys app store and free internet (up to 500mb). I don't know what the costs will be though.

ya iphone wins on app store and multimedia but BB wins wins on email, security, messaging, UMA or whatever allowing to make calls on wifi, and I think thats it. Its really about what u want and need, I think iphone, BB , and droid phones are all good

yeah i had the same problem a while ago until i bought the bb curve 8520 still no regret i love it oh yeah this is what you do you can either taske the phone apart(not enough tio see the micro chip just enough to get to the screen and take it out ansd clean it or take it to the place u got it they will do it for u.

I gave my Storm to my girlfriend and she hate it even with AppWorld, she rather to use my iPhone and iPod touch 2G instead or her Storm, she just use the BB for phone calls and email. iPhone is a lot better and very superior. Long live Apple and let's see what they will bring us this week at WWDC.

because the nokia app store was not as popular and touch friendly as the iPhone App store. The iPhone is one of the coolest gadgets out there and Apple built up the hype for the app store by first releasing web apps, and then later releasing the app store. To tell you the truth, i didn't know that nokia ever had an app store

iTunes requires credit card information too but for some reason if you try to create an iTunes account after clicking on an app it is not required. I don't have an iPhone or Touch but downloaded an App just so that I could create an iTunes account without requiring credit card information. It's kind of ridiculous seeing that there are many free download on the iTunes store other than Apps and some people use iTunes gift cards for paid content.
