there are still some quality childrens progams on but just for the very young kids. Theres Dora and Diego and Thomas the Train. But 8-10 year olds only want to see that Pokemon and Dragon Ball crap. Those shows are making our children stupid. They are japanese-produced and the english language level is 2nd grade at best. The story lines make no sense and the art is just lazy.
Can't imagine anyone these days getting excited over watching Casablanca on broadcast TV, but there are some sick guitar effects during the credits. They always got the music right on 3-2-1 Contact!
Out of curiosity, how many children's television programs are sponsored by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Education these days?
good question I'd imagine it's shrunk to some degree over the last 8 years but the ones that currently get govt grants are now given under the "No Child Left Behind" name....I for one hope the Obama administration brings back the Dept of Ed - Tree of Knowledge logo but more importantly better funding!
I remember this episode. One of my favorites. Kathy and Miguel are given lists of errands all over the place, and Robin gives them the idea to split the errands up evenly (with her) so that they can get back in time for the movie.
I wanted to get into Robin's panties so badly when I was a kid... I miss the 80s.

@flrchld69 Marc,Trini, and Lisa had a better setting and there was also not an annoying little brother hanging around with them either
