This song allways reminds me of my crack smoking days. I can still remember the night i bought a rock the size of a golf ball, and i got so paranoid that night that i stashed the damn thing and never found it again (i think my cat ate it cause he was really paranoid that night too) man that pisses me off. Glad those days are over and am doing much better now that i have switched to meth.

@bobbler yes. Yes a thousand times. This song and this band, is most relevant to the here and now. The fact that you can see that is demonstration enough you haeven't missed any of the starter pistols. My advice: don't start worrying about such trifles until your 30s.

I love and hate this song. Well, I hate it lyrically in the sense that I'm 29, tittering on youth with no driving passion or accomplishments I deem worthy of such an age. "and then one day you find, 10 years have got behind you, no-one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun" so depressing and true... not that I think that those who didn't miss the gun are any happier. DSotM is such a brilliant, still relevant album. I guess these themes are timeless in a 'civilised' world.

@bobblefish I'm 28, just heading back to school, no kids, not married and back at home with my parents.. Haha. But nothing seems wrong about it. We all just take different paths in life. My mom just got her bachelor's at 57 and my dad just started a new career at 58. I have friends who graduated from college at 22 and got married, had kids right away and I almost feel bad for them that they missed out on the "wandering" life.
