Griffin won by split decision, the third round was the most revealing, griffin kept going at it, and Tito couldnt do anything but try to survive the clock
as a tito fan,i have to say he looked like shit,his boxing is horrible,that's why liddell picked him apart with ease...forrest griffin won the fight and won it in impressive fashion...i honestly think tito has lost it,his stamina looked awful,his boxing was non existant and again he had to make excuses after the loss...the LW division looks empty now with Chuck gone,silva going to mw,rampage retired and tito not a threat anymore...evans,thiago,griffin and possibly anderson is all we have.
i dont think it seems empty you got machida,rashad, shogun,and rampage will be back. i would even pay to see chuck if he comes back and i have a feeling he is gonna i know he will never be champ again but still fun to watch him fight.

This looked like another marketing decision. I mean look at the circumstances. Tito won the first one and now Forrest wins the second one. The end they kept on jabbering about a 3rd one. This third round tito did absolutely nothing. These main events are somehow looking fixed or planned. I like both fighters equally, but it seems as though they're both good at marketing first, fighting second. I'm done with ordering UFC via PPV.

It's possible we could end up with a good fight between the two. You really never know. Even if it's a fight ppl are not wanting it does not mean it won't be entertaining.
It would be really hard to put on a worse fight than that of Vera vs. Couture. It's possible given their styles, but I don't see it happening.
That said with the exception of the two main fights of 105 (which sucked), I thought 105 was pretty decent especially since it was free.
i thought 105 was worth a Pay Per View over this card. Whos buying these types of UFC cards? Not me. I'll watch it for free on the internet later that night

Tito is definitely a joke in MMA. Nobody wants to see him fight. I haven't seen a fight of his that wasn't a boring decision in forever. I mean, come on this guy fights like a retard, the worst standup game in the entire division, and he fights scared. No aggression, and his ground and pound is outdated and lame. When was the last time he knocked anyone out? 8 years ago when he slammed Evan Tanner? Tito sucks ass.

Well great. Then Forrest/Tito make a good matchup. I mean when was the last time Forrest knocked anyone out? 2003 against Edson Silva. Wow, impressive. Not to mention he hardly has any TKO victories as well. Griffin's last TKO was in 2005 against Sinosic. He's just as much of a decision guy as Ortiz is. In fact the percentage of his fights that end in decision is greater than that of Ortiz.

Ken Shamrock was an excellent fighter at a time when UFC fighters did not know MMA and were more often than not smaller than Shamrock.

Well unfortunately Lesnar/Carwin (the original main event for UFC 106) fell through due to Lesnar's health.
The truth is both of them are big names that ppl are interested in. They are not a great main event, but they are decent enough.

It's possible we could end up with a good fight between the two. You really never know. Even if it's a fight ppl are not wanting it does not mean it won't be entertaining.
It would be really hard to put on a worse fight than that of Vera vs. Couture. It's possible given their styles, but I don't see it happening.
That said with the exception of the two main fights of 105 (which sucked), I thought 105 was pretty decent especially since it was free.
