can i install it on a non-unibody macbook? i heard they uses PATA connection instead of SATA drive (is that correct?)

@g25a25c yes they do use PATA connection but there are optibay's for that as well...

Your adding a second drive so it will have some affect. I did not notice much of a drain as the second drive was a SSD drive.
