Not my cat he just gets even more playfull, and willing to bite or claw just petting. With a cat like that, if he tastes fresh blood it might trigger predator instict or he is liable to rip your arm off accidently while playing.

I know someone who kept one on a yacht to protect it. It was a smaller South American subspecies, about the size of a medium dog, and became very tame and never bit anyone. Even a cougar that small can do a lot of damage however. It was lightening fast and could have taken out an eye or even slashed an artery just like that. It also sprayed a lot, and the whole place smelled of really strong cat urine, + it mounted housecats. This is why it ended up in a sanctuary, a tragedy for a wild animal.
