Those comments don't make any sense. He won that fight vs Choi, but the the bullshit referees gave it to Choi. The fact of the matter is that he's by far the best fighter in K-1 right now. he didn't fight in MMA only the match vs Fedor, afterwards Fedor said it was the toughest fight he'd ever had. At the end of this fight his trainer yells (achterwaartse trap = backspin kick) he makes it and wins the fight.
Schilt timed it right with it was coming down to the last seconds of the 1st round. Most fighters would just let it go and re-group for 2nd round but Schilt got Hunt off guard with that one.
Semmy is super tall. Michael Mcdonald also had adventage in second round, but unfortunatelly he stick on the long knee like Sefo on very long hand. He has no good guard, his kicks can be compared to a muay thai beginner, he ain't even using his hipps that much when his boxing, those knees look like crap. He's okey but he's no tall Buakaw.

He wins alot because of his size. He had problems with Ray sefo and Peter Aerts. The thing was that he could take 700 punches from them and they could take 10 from him. If it wasn't for his size then he wouldn't even get to K-1 I believe. Fedor has allready beaten him once. So has Sergei Kharitonov, Josh Barnett took him twice.

Semmy schilt's skill and technique is very basic. Nothing impressive. He basically a genetic freak rather than a professional fighter , he just uses his size and weight to win. And he's boring to watch.
