What memories. How young I used to be. Thought it would last forever. I was an outstanding dancer. Better than any of these. Boy are they lousy! That one girl acts like a deer in headlights. Great song. Canned Heat, were they one hit wonders? Can't remember any other ones by them. Well, enough nostalgia. I am getting depressed. As they say, youth is wasted on the young. Actually, life is too short is closer to the truth. Right when I am just starting to get a clue to it all, it is almost over.
Young girls with short skirts will always be pretty girls but professionial dancers in short skirts like Pan's People is a different manner. Planned to be eroctic!
The BBC lost/wiped the colour version, but it's nice to see the colours fighting to come back! The BBC, out-of-touch for the last 40 years or so, and today they now play more self-congratulatory trailers (adverts) than ever, yet we still pay for them.
They kept looping certain sections but it's a great piece of history of that time. It's funny to see the contrast between the professional dancers and the pretty girls from the audience they picked. The girl in the centre seems scared to move (they probably told her to stand on this sport and DON'T MOVE'). My favourite is the girl in the white boots behind the bars on the right. She was a 10 for sure! :-)
@stevecowdry Could be worse Steve, we could be dead. All the good looking fellahs of that era are also approaching or are 60+. That's the circle of life. You get one go on the merry go round.
