@Cldfsn0200 If you are talking about him on AI, he currently has a severe case of nodes. Dianosed a month before the show, which could explain the lesser power and strain in his voice now. If not, well, he's a skinny dude, doesn't have iron pipes, but has some good character going on. I hope he doesn't ruin his voice totally with AI and tour thing because he sounds way better and interesting when he's healthy.

David Cook won AI and was allowed to put together his own band and he chose to use his friends and members of his former band to start up his new band post-Idol. There's no reason why Paul couldn't do the same thing if he wins Idol. Regardless of whether he wins or not, this guy is going to go far. And he's got my vote!

@RebelDavis You're correct regarding David Cook...and the fact that he was allowed to use his friends may be the reason he's been less successful than other past Idol winners and contestants. Daultry wasn't allowed to use his former band. They had to audition and none of them made the cut. I'm sure we'd all like to bring our friends along, but sometimes they just aren't good enough. I know nothing about The Grand Mags, but I wish them all the best.
