  • How much did you paid for your accoustic bass ? thanks

  • @MultiTechnicss It was around 300 euros if I remember correctly.

  • @dondi02 okay thanks a lot

  • Pardon my ignorance - I don't know anything about acoustic bass - it's very hard to hear it, are you able to play with a guitarist? Is it audible? Thanks in advance.

  • @vear6 It's much more quiet than a guitar. I've been playing with a guitarist without amplifying the bass, but this has been usually indoors. I'd recommend a Microcube to go with it.

  • @dondi02 this bass plugs directly into a PA with its dual XLR/1/4 inch plug

, and if you and the guitarist do the same it sounds great.

  • I am hesitating between that bass or a 5 strings. Suggestions ?

  • @Cocorikot 4 strings have always been enough for me

  • Whoops! I'd recommend changing them once every year religiously. I typically ask people to get strings for birthday / Christmas presents. (;

  • @keysignify Yeah man, I know they should be changed and that old strings don't sound good. I've been usually playing this bass when I'm alone and the "stuffy" sound hasn't bothered me this far. However, now it's probably time for me to buy new strings as I bought a battery-powered amp which makes it more fun to jam outdoors.

  • Your sound isn't as bright (or as loud) as it could be. If you buy new strings, it'll make a world of difference. (I know because when I bought mine 6-7 years ago I kept the same strings on it for a 3-4 years.) I'd re

  • What kind of strings do you use on this bass?

  • @JeremyL796

They're the bronze round wound strings that came with the bass when I bought it. 5 years later I still use the same strings.

  • @dondi02 Thanks

  • i have this bass..its a little quiet but it does the trick

  • is this an aeb-8e?

  • @atthemodestyouth I wondered this but in the tags he says it's an aeb-10e, but the aeb-8e is pretty similar just cheaper, i'm buying one soon :)

  • @Thornyfy

yep, aeb10. I don't think aeb-8e differs much from this one.

  • I was thinking about buying this bass as well. Some reviews claim there is bad fret buzz. Could you offer an opinion on that, if it's not a bother?
